09/2025 - Lunes the 01st - JOURNEY

 

Nice bouquet last week at the SVAFC.  It was beautiful.  I took lots of photos of it.  Sharing them today.  Not sure who brought them in.  Still looked ok yesterday.  No flowers blooming near my farm.  Thanks

to the drought.

Today's Name Day:  Sam, Samuel

Have a cousin named Sam or Samuel.  

    Just home resting.  Less pain, sort of.  Trash day tomorrow but I cannot move/lift anything.  Cannot ask anyone.  People are too busy.  And, of course, no one who could help offers me support.  Nice to be cared about. HA.  😞. Never dreamed I would be so alone & abandoned.  Life sucks.

    Short email from one friend.  Several texts/fotos from MM.  Good to see him with family & friends.  Warms my heart.

    Cloudy, temps in the 70s, maybe rain later.

    Not much to say.  Really hard to blog with Cinder curled on my chest.  😸. Photos a mix.

07/2025 - Martes the 22th- JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Madeleine, Magdalena

    Had another quiet day.  I was awake often last night thanks to my glucose sensor & the weather.

    There few chances of rain for us here.  The weather apps all said rain would end by midnight.  Then they changed it to 1am & then 2am.  The last edit said 5am.  It was an amazing storm.  I swear the lightning was directly over my house!  It was constant.  With thunder.  I got almost 3 inches of rain.  There are still flood warnings for anyone living near the river.  It was hot today.  Over 90F.

    Since there was no chance of rain yesterday I dragged many boxes out by the trash bins.  Woke up this morning to see 3 boxes in my back yard.  Could have been worse.  Looked out my front door & there was one large box in front of my car.  Plus it was so nice to see my bench cleared off.  Blessing.

    Had an email & long text with MM.  He was with our friend CW.  I miss them both.  JR & I texted during the storm.

    Cancelled today again.  Tired.  A nice nap helped.  Planning my week.  Changes different than usual..

    The electricity flickered all night.  I turned off my ice machine.  Forgot to turn it back on this morning.  No ice today!!!  Should be working now.  Glad I never lost electrity.

07/2025 - Lunes the 21th- JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Johanna

Went to school with a Johanna.  She was not here in first grade but came something later.  She died soon after out 50th class reunion from cancer.

    Another day of rest.  I had a lunch invite but I did not see it until noon.  I was awake many times during the night thanks to my glucose sensor.  Finally fell asleep around 7am & that was it.  Dang.

    Nice message from MM & one from NSG.  Nice to have people to make sure I am ok.  Helps me not feel so alone.

    MM returned to work today.  I am glad for him.  I have been so worried about him.

    Last night a guy that used to work here at Jalisco's texted me. While here, RL always came out from the kitchen just to greet me with the best smile.  Really miss him.  We texted for the longest time.  Nice.  And this morning he greeted me again.  I had an idea where he was living now.  I was almost correct.

    Cancelled today due to my health.  Had a great nap.  Forgot to set my alarm.  Wish it had made me feel better.

    Weather truly sucked today.  Almost 100F outside today.  My house never quite got cool enough.  I was out once & I could hardly breathe with the humidity.  I heard there is a fire in Colorado near Kansas.  Hope the smoke goes somewhere else, not here.

    In a severe thunderstorm warning.  I hear lots of loud thunder.  Some wind. Raining now.
