11/2025 - Martes the 18th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Naemi, Naima, Lillemor, Moa

Used to have a supposedly good friend named Naomi.  What a fool I was.  We had some fun times but she left me out of lots of things.  Then  she walked totally away from me.  I am better off.

Lillemore means little mother.

    A better day.  Cancelled yesterday.  Not up to going out after my bad spell at Pizza Hut.  I cancelled today out of fear.  Did not want to tempt fate.  Day turned out fine.  No flu symptoms.  Blood sugars are good.  Great to have a glucose sensor back on.  So nice.  Glad my doctor had an extra one to share.

    Heard from MM, JL, CW, CF,  JR.  Saw my bulls yesterday.  No photo yet.  Glad they are back.  Love having cattle here. 

    Not eaten much today.  Blood sugar was good overnight with little food.  Same for today.

    Little cooler today.  The rain has finally moved out of California & coming my way.  Rain starts on thursday.  And colder.  I am ready.  Chance of rain/snow on Thanksgiving.  Great!!

    Thanksgiving is in JR's office.  Like years ago.  Have to see what tv dinner I can find to bring for me.  JR can do what he wants.  Hopefully they have a turkey one.  But I am flexible.

Me at MM's yesterday,  Gracie was so excited to see me at the door!!  She curled up on my lap & next to me on the sofa.  I should go visit her often.  She is so lovable!!

                                                    

11/2025 - Domingo the 16th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Vibeke, Viveka

    Cancelled today.  Just not feeling the best.  Plus I have to be in Hutchinson KS tomorrow for a doctor appointment.  Did not want to have to cancel.  For joy!!  Dreading it.  Hate doctor's appointments.

    I slept good though.  But my blood sugar has been high all night & all day.  Odd.  Tried to eat less & that did not work.  See what supper does.

    I took a short nap.  Cats joined me.  Little human interaction today.

    I cut my nap short & took a nice warm shower & shampoo.  Made me feel better with lower blood sugar.  Almost supper time.  Sort of know what I will have.

    Got groceries yesterday & today from Amazon.  Cats were out of food.  Now they are fine.  Just fed them again.

    Bedroom was full of large  black flies & lady bugs.  Sick of both.  Not sure what to do.  Have an idea for my bedroom window.  Will think about it.  Was supposed to be fixed but I think that is not going to happen.  Sad.

    Heard a cow when I was outside.  Asked KN & the bulls are back home.  But they are locked up where I cannot see them.  Sat outside for a while.  Pretty chilly.  Felt good when I got inside my warm house!!  Cozy.

Daylight Saving Time

I hate this.  Pick a time & leave it alone.  Stupid.

Today's Name Day: Hubert, Hugo

    Had a pretty good day.  Woke up a bit late due to the time change.  I hate it.  Pick a time & leave it alone.  The stupidity of it all.  At least everything changed time on its own.  Did for get to check my car.  Do that tomorrow.

    Ate lunch too late to nap.  Did not need it.  I have a new planner on my Remarkable 2 that I am still getting used to.  Takes longer than usual to do things I always do.

    JR & I ate supper in Pizza Hut.  My stomach was a bit upset when I was getting dressed but got better.  There is always something............  I only had garlic bread.  Usually never bothers my stomach.

    Dessert was the Barnyard Creamery.  I had a small soft serve ice cream without any topping.  Perfect.

    After dessert with got some groceries.  When I was home sick the other day MM brought me cake from the grocery store.  I got more & they said it is very popular.  Next time I will get several!!!  Love them!!!!

    There was a huge area of storms that kept moving north from Oklahoma to here.  Of course it missed us.  It went east of me then it swirled around the north of us.  BUT.  In Oklahoma they have had severe storms in Oklahoma City.  Several tornados & much damage.  Videos are scary & sad.  Maybe we did not want storms here.  Rain starts here tomorrow morning & most of the day.  Chance for rain midweek.

    I wish I could go hide in a cave somewhere without any media, etc. until after the election.  Need to start taking my anxiety pills now.  Terrified for my country & our future.  Or our lack of a future.  😱

    My bulls are home.  But KN told me there are more than just bulls in the pasture.  Wonder what??? He said I would like them.  Have to look outside often tomorrow!!!  I am so curious.  When I walked to my car to go to town, a couple of bulls serenaded me!!!  Cool!

Because of our drought & heat some trees will not be very colorful.  So far mine a bland.
