 4th of July

    I did sleep good last night but have been beyond tired today.  Nice nap.  Spring fever???

    No plans for today.  Just home.  Really not in the mood to go see fire works or the towns old fashioned celebration.  Our celebration does not include fire works.  Been several years since we have had them.  Far too hot for me to be outside and bugs.  I saw 99F here.  Taking Nico out is awful.  At least he does not dally around.

    I never buy fireworks.  No little kids here.  Just me.  Would be silly for me to do that.

    Thought about going out to eat but that is just spending more money.  Spent enough yesterday.  And no energy.

    Some severe storms out to the west.  Will it get here?  Who knows.  Be ok with me.

    Nico had a moment of getting into things.  He finally quit.  I almost got the baby gate & put him in the hallway.

    Too quiet today.  No communication for me.  I guess everyone is busy with their own family & friends.  That leaves me out.

06 september, 2022 Wandering

    A quiet day.  I struggled to sleep last night.  But eventually I did.  Did not matter.  Home all day.  No celebration here.  I can dream of the past.  I spent the holiday afternoon outside with Nico & Cinder.  When the black cat stays home, then Cinder stays around her home.  He needs to go & stay home.  I try not to feed him but sometimes he steals all her food.

    Super nice weather.  Our temps were 59F & 89F.  Wish it would stay.  A little warmer is forecast but cooler next weekend & chance of rain.  I believe nothing they say anymore.  I mostly ignore.  And poor California.  Far too hot.  And they are telling people to cut down eletricity usage or there will be blackouts.  Scary times.  Thanks all those who ignore or poo poo climate change.

    Watching Expedition Unknown.  They have found some rock drawings & that is where our alphabet started.  The guy explaining was just fascinating.  Learning is good.  They are near Mt. Sinai.

    While outside there were a couple of blue jays that were really upset the cat & dog were under my car port.  We were just sitting but they could not quit screeching!
