    Today started very stressful.. Terrified of eye doctor appointment & what he could find wrong with me.  I had learned a few diseases that it could be bothering my eyes.  I get blind in the dark in bed.

    Well, it was not what Dr thought it might be.  But he double checked & scanned my eyeballs.  All is well. But he does know what is causing my blindness.  Stress.  I guess good to know but what to do.  Not my 2 jobs.  I knew they are not stressful.  I am happy at both of them.  I cannot fix the stress.  FML.

    I stopped at Arby's to get supper.  Very good.

    I was so upset today I forgot a meeting tonight.  Called LL to give her my message of not being there.

    Saw 91F today.  TV weather says we could be 100F on sunday.  I hate summer.  At least there is no humidity.  Helps.  Tried to sit out last night.  Too many bugs.  No breeze tonight,  I want to be with Daisy.  Got a few photos last night.  She sure loves me,  Wish I could bring her in.  But do not trust my older cats.

    Now to relax.  And watch my soaps.  Saw a little of FIFA.  Enough to know who won.

    Called KN.  Nice visit.  Saw him drive through my yard.  Too tired to get up & go outside.

Best friend John Bergers.  Sure miss him.  His birthday is on Bastille Day.  He was even in Paris one year for his birthday.  And he was positive the fireworks & music were just for him!!!  I bet he is there this year also!

08/2025 - Jueves the 21st - JOURNEY

I bought the post card.  It had the owner's name & the address.  So wanted to see if the house was still here.  It is.  Very cool.

Today's Name Day:  Jon, Jonna

I am friends now with a Johnita, a lady.  I was in high schooll with a Johhnie.  A girl..  Have know many Jon's or John's.

    Had a pretty good day!!  Slept good with a short nap.  Cinder slept with me in my nap.  Love her snuggles & purring.  😸

    Had an eye dr, appointment.  Not with the dr.  Just a test. Was not in the mood so I canceled.  No big deal.

    Met my friend RG for supper at the Crown & Rye.  They were really busy.  Good to see.  Even saw a few people I know.

    RG walked by Jalsico's on the way for supper.  No one in there.  The carpet is still there but all tables & chairs are gone.  Who knows where.  Storage unit?  Sold?  Hmmmm.  We will not plan on eating there next thursday.  Going somewhere else.  

    Weather is ok today.  High around 91 but low humidity.  Really cold autumn like weather headed our way.  My friend CW is as excited as I am.  My friends who live in California have super hot weather.  Las Vegas will be 109F tomorrow.  I could live with that.  Just never leave the casino.  No problem.  Been there in the heat.

    When I got home both cats came running to greet me.  Sweet.  Either glad to see me or into some thing they knew was a no no

Wandering, 17 march, 2022

    I had a busy day, but busy with good things.  It was cool and getting colder now.  Rain is almost here.  There is snow in western Kansas.  Will be here later.  Hope it is pretty and I get some photos.  Be a joy to get any kind of moisture.  And the haters can just be quiet.  Let their income depend on the weather!!

    I had a hair app't at 1pm.  Love when I get to see and laugh with HP.  He is the best.  And for real he is the best stylist in Salina.  I am so lucky he wanted me when my long time stylist moved away.

    Then on to my eye doctor.  I have stressed over seeing him.  What a joy if I had someone to drive me and support me if I got bad news.  But now there is no one.  My husband maybe was not the best support but he would be there.  Some life changes are not good.

    Eye news not too bad, but not good.  Same old stuff.  I put in eye drops before my app't.  And my eyes are beyond dry.  Awful.  My right eye sees the best.  Left eye is a lazy eye.  My vision is anything but clear.  Reading is a challenge.  Everything is blurry.  There is no help at this point.  Time to try prescription drops.  I have a prescription just to find out the price.  If it is super high, they are to contact my doctor.  Hopefully Medicare will be caring.  Hopefully.  Do not want to pay $700 a month.  If that is it, I will have my savings put that in my account every month.  Makes me sick with worry.  I will not lean on anyone else.  People all have their own troubles.

    The wind has come up.  Supposed to blow up to 50mph over night.  Must be from the south so far and I hear banging on my house.
