Today's Name Day:  Doris,  Dorotea

Had a Doris as a neighbour as a child.  Know of many.  Had an Aunt Dorothy.  She have moved away & not seen her in years.

    Busy day.  But a good one!!!

    I had planned on lunch at the Öl Stuga, but that did not work out.  A cousin emailed me telling me he had old photos from Shogren family in black & white. He wondered if I wanted them.  Told him I did & I was working & would be there at 12.30pm.  He never showed up or sent an email why.  Typical of that family.  Probably decided I not deserve any family stuff.   Nice.

    I worked at the SVAFC.  New artist display.  I have never seen that much art in my life!!!  From her entire life.  Loved them all.  I got photos of all & in an album.  And today was super busy.  Lots of people in.  Fun.  I never had time to even get tired!!  And met some new people.  My one boss was in at least 4-5 times.  Good to see her.

    My boss's step son came in.  We really like each other but had not seen each other in a few months.  Had a nice visit after he got his work done.  Before he left he told me to call him when I am working there & if I needed any help at home to just call.  He is the best.

    Today was my day.  Another good friend sent the best text message to me.  I am not used to feeling so good.

    JR & I had supper at Jalisco's.  Much less busy tonight.  Got to visit with my amigos there.  And I even used some Mexican words.  Very cool.  We had time to chat & joke & laugh.  And with their son.  Great.

    This morning my new mouse arrived.  And tonight I finally got it to work.  The directions were so tiny I could not read.  But I zoomed in & saw one simple thing I did not know.   Now all is well.

01/2026 - Torsdagen den 05:e - MY JOURNEY

 

One of my many chronic illnesses.  It is behaving today.

Today's Name Day:  Agata,  Agda

    Had a fun day.  Lunch out with my thursday lunch group.  Ate at the White Peacock today.  I had biscuits & gravy.  Love it!!  Had lots of conversation & laughs.  Fun day.

    Tried to take a short nap but that did not happen.  Got up to work on a project I have put off.  About done.  Got caught up on my soaps (novellas) while working.

    Cats are still napping.  I am out of one of their favorite foods.  More comes on saturday.  They will survive.  Pouting though.

    Temp got to almost 70F today.  House was far too hot.  Turned my ac on for awhile.  Now set to nothing working.  Fine without it .  Tomorrow sort of the same but a bit cooler with strong north winds.

    No mouse so difficult for me to create my blog.  New  mouse comes tomorrow.  Hope it works.

    Just got a phone call from MM that he is off work today & we could meet for supper.  Nice idea.  Half way to town he called again.  His room mate had started a fire on their stove & MM had to be there.  Roommate is not on the lease so what ever what going to take place MM had to be there.  He is the leasee.  He never made it to eat with me.  Jalisco's was super busy.  I hoped he would make it but he did not.  The one girl has quit & moved to Nebraska.  So it was only MS & her husband.  They were running!  He even took my order.  And the cook delivered to me in person.  It was ok.  Did get time to visit with the 2 workers.  They are the best.

    Home now.  Time for photos.  Not too many.

12/2025 - Martes the 30th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Set, Kelsey, Mason

My neighbour's daughter is Kelsey.  Have known a Mason.

    

    Slept good last night.  I watch my blood sugar so it does not go too low.  Cinder stays close as does Kisse.  Like having them close to me.

    Got cold over night but warm today.  I wore my coat tonight but did not need it.  One never knows.

    I braved the back bathroom to shampoo my hair.  Was warm & water was ok.  I got a hold of my hair stylist & his first opening is January 22.  Hard to believe but maybe he is punishing me for cancelling when I did not feel well.  Sorry.  My first to do thing is take care of me.  Tough.  At that appointment will find a day to color my hair.  Then back to normal.

    Emails with JL.mail

    I had planned to work tomorrow but I have been invited out to lunch & coffee/cake in the afternoon.  Cancelled work for tomorrow.  Tired of watching every one else have fun times with friends.  So I an going to also.  Will work on friday.  And lunch with LL.  Seeing MM tomorrow at noon also.

    The mailman crammed my mailbox full of small packages.  What a mess.  They are in to open in a minute.

    My phone is a total mess.  I have deleted tons of photos & programs.  Still is not working right.  Next week I will see what Verizon has to say.  If they have any way to help me.  Would hate to drop them.  JR looked on his service to see what kind of phones they are selling.  None of them have hardly any storage.  What the hell???  Makes no sense.  Nothing I do helps.

    TV is boring tonight.  Nothing to watch.

    I have decided to pull away from things & people.  I got far to involved in Christmas.  No more.  A couple of happy happy but not a dozen every day.  I no longer care how many I get.  No wonder I felt awful most of the time.  I want the holidays over & my life back.

    JR & I ate supper at Jalisco's.  They were moderately busy.  I knew almost no one.  My cousin & her husband come in often.  She rarely if ever says hi or smiles at me.  He husband almost always smiles, or waves, or says hi.  How I love family.

    Think I can leave the water not dripping tonight.  Gets expensive.  But I love when I get a glass of water it is very cold.  No basement so the pipes get cold.  In summer the water sucks.  Luke warm.  Ick,

    Photos are the usual.  Several more Christmas lights.  There was one house I really wanted a photo of.  Got it tonight.
