06 august, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    We were in a severe weather warning last night.  It said heavy rain, 80 mph winds, hail.  What I got here was a ton of lightning, misty rain, then normal rain, no wind, no hail.  I still got very stressed.  I hate being here alone in storms.  Better when Willie was alive.  Had someone to turn to for support/advice.

    I could not sleep at all last night.  Pain, stress, & a cat fight did not help.  I slept all afternoon.

    Weather today was so nice.  Only in the 80s.  Nice breeze.  Wish it would stay like this until autumn gets here. 

    I had planned to have JR come to help me with something but I could not do it.  Either sleep or work  Not both.

    JR & I had supper at Pizza Hut.  LA joined us.  She is such a sweet friend!  And we laugh a lot!  She is good for me.  I even got to say hi to her husband.  And saw her mom & baby.

14 april, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Today did not go as I planned.  But that was a good thing.  Got up, had lunch, & watched all my soap operas.  Then lay down to rest.

    JR planned to take photos at a high school track meet.  No supper planned.  But we have severe weather warnings & it kept sounding worse so JR decided to forget photos.  We went to Jalisco's instead.

    One of our workers is returning to Mexico in a few weeks.  I will sure miss him.  He always greets me with a smile, a hand shake, & friendly words.  Today there was a new guy there.  I was introduced.  He is quiet, of course.  New there.  But he had a ready smile.  Hope he is nice.

    During supper JS & I video chatted.  I let his friends there see him & wave.  He thought maybe he knew our new guy but he does not.  Good to chat.

    Storms to the west of us.  Just got a warning about some strong storms on the way.  Believe it when I see it.  I even turned my rain gauge upright.  Cinder went back out.  Hope she stays close.  Rain would be so wonderful.  I can dream.
