02/2026 - Onsdagen den 4:e - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Anselm,  Ansgar

    Had a good day.  Worked at the Old Mill.  Got lots of photos done.  Small batches.  One was a booklet of photos.  There was a quiz printed out with facts about Smolan.  Only the questions & 4 answers that could be right answers.  But there are no correct answers anywhere.  Will share with a Smolan group for fun!!

    Stayed cold today.  Saw a high of 42F.  Quite chilly.  And cloudy.

    Had a big shock last night.  During my spanish lesson & I moved to a higher level.  What a surprise!!!

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  Good to see everyone.

    Got home & ready to blog.  My mouse quit working.  And I cannot find my old one to save my life.  Ordered a new one.  Be here on friday.  Hope it works.  Dang.  This will be a short blog.

    Photos are mostly candles that showed up in my memories yesterday.  Old photos.

                                               

                

02/2026 - Måndag den 2:a - MY JOURNEY

 

Far too early for spring.  I am glad.  And a little hopeful.

Today's Name Day:  Disa, Hjördis

A friend in Australia has a daughter named Disa.  Never met her.  Only person I know of with that name.

    Not a bad day.  Cold night but a warmish day.;  I saw 46F.  Stayed cloudy all day.  I like that.  Makes driving easier for me.

    Saw my eye dr for a simple test only.  No big deal.  Not my favorite test but it went well.

    I am able to get my mail out of my mailbox..  And no chance of getting stuck.  Snow melted away.

    Weather man just announced there is rain/snow in our forecast.  I was anxious to hear when but what a disappointment.  Small area of snow or rain.  And maybe fog later.  Big deal.  Sure it will miss my farm.  Appears to stay west of me.

    After watching the national news I am going to have to write privately so I do not whine in my blog.  When oh when are the adults going to take control??

    My cousin in Kentucky is improving.  Good news.  Off the ventilator & can talk & move.  Nice to have good news in my life.

    Had a nice email from JL.  Photos from MM.  Another person who usually ends a photo sent one that was disgusting.  I have chosen to ignore.  What was he thinking.  Like an insult.

    Finally get a haircut tomorrow.  Has been at least 2 months since my last one.  Have to share a real photo of me tomorrow!!!  Will be a lot shorter!!

    Photos are like usual.  Started this blog with two drawings about whether we would get more winter.  We will.  I am glad.  Far too early for spring.  Although dozens of people are counting the days until spring.  I am not one of them.  Dread the hot, humid, buggy summer weather.  

                                                       

               

    

09/2025 - Lunes the 01st - JOURNEY

 

Nice bouquet last week at the SVAFC.  It was beautiful.  I took lots of photos of it.  Sharing them today.  Not sure who brought them in.  Still looked ok yesterday.  No flowers blooming near my farm.  Thanks

to the drought.

Today's Name Day:  Sam, Samuel

Have a cousin named Sam or Samuel.  

    Just home resting.  Less pain, sort of.  Trash day tomorrow but I cannot move/lift anything.  Cannot ask anyone.  People are too busy.  And, of course, no one who could help offers me support.  Nice to be cared about. HA.  😞. Never dreamed I would be so alone & abandoned.  Life sucks.

    Short email from one friend.  Several texts/fotos from MM.  Good to see him with family & friends.  Warms my heart.

    Cloudy, temps in the 70s, maybe rain later.

    Not much to say.  Really hard to blog with Cinder curled on my chest.  😸. Photos a mix.
