30 july, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

 International Day of Friendship 

    A long night and no sleep.  Only a couple of hours.  And I could not find my power drink.  Maybe they are all gone.  Gonna hurt later.    

    Up early for working again.  I was worried about how tired I am.  And boy was I right!  Not many visitors.  And I was constantly nodding off.  So painful.  Luckily I got to go home a bit early.  Jay rode with to carry a box of trash away for me.  I was so relieved he did that!!!

    We ate at Pizza Hut & LA joined us.  I did pretty well with my spanish with her.  I maybe cannot do a real sentence, but she understood me!!  And we laughed so hard.  Great we understand each other so well.  It was a great supper.

    Cinder went out middle of last night.  I never saw her today.  I was so worried about her.  But after supper there she was sitting on the porch.  What a relief.

    Trying to plan my week.  Too many things & not enough time.  Sigh.

24 september, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Nice day.  Quiet & no drama.  No calls or texts.  Probably good.  Not in a good mood.  Too much pain last night & today.  I can barely walk.  There were soccer matches today but I am glad I did not try to go.  Walking from my car to the stands would have been too much for me.  Should have taken JR & I could have just stayed in my car.  Maybe park where I could see a bit.

    Nice weather again.  In the 50s last night.  Today was in the 80s.  Very nice.  Sat outside twice with Nico & Cinder.  They are fun to watch.  They copy each other as to where they go & how they lay.  And she spent a lot of time with me also.  Loving this.  A bit cooler tomorrow.

    While sitting outside I could hear a squirrel harvesting acorns.  I looked up to see if I could see it.  And sitting on the edge of my house roof was a squirrel who was watching me & Cinder.  A cool moment.  They are curious like we are.

    I can tell it is my blog time.  Nico just cannot let me write.  He is constantly scratching on my leg.  He has treats, water, & food.  If I take him out it is not for him to potty.  He can wait to go out again.  He does not think so.  He is sure he is the boss of the farm.

    So far tv is not too bad.  Actually some shows I have not seen before.  Now if SNL was back on!! Not tonight.

    Photos are autumn themed.  It never gets that pretty here.  I did see one red leaf in the front yard.  My pear tree can get red leaves.

                        

    

11 september, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I had little sleep last night but felt ok this morning until after lunch.  Then I got tired.  JR & I ate at Jalisco's & my back started hurting then.  A constant thing.

    Weather is heaven.  I had to add a second blanket on my bed, wore a winter nightgown, & socks.  Perfecto!  Our temps were 48F & 83F.  Delightful.

    My back was ok during the night but not at lunch.  After my nap I can barely walk.  Why?  Hope it is better tomorrow.  Trash day & need to carry some out.  Dang.  It will be a challenge.

    Jalisco's was not as busy as usual.  Maybe the weather is too nice to eat inside.  But the wait staff were all in a good mood.  JS is on his way to somewhere fun after work.  Lucky him.  He jokingly asked me to go.  HA.  He knows I cannot go without Nico being boarded out for the day.  Talk is cheap.  But I can dream.

    I found something new to eat that I love.  I mix lingonberries in my tapioca or vanilla puddings.  Awesome!!  I could make an entire meal of it!

    Watching Stanley Tucci again.  Not caught up yet.  And many photos from England on Instagram.  I am still so sad.

    Photos today are some that came up in my FB memories from a few years ago.  No clue where they are from but I love them.  The picture that says Family needs to be changed to Friends.  I have few family I am close to but probably more friends or at least acquaintances.
