02/2026 - Lördagen den 21: e - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Hilding

Lindsborg had a well known man named Hilding.  He & his wife owne Swedish Crafts.  Sure miss that shop & them.  He was also a great artist.  Nice paintings.

    Had a good  day.  Went to bed last might at 10pm.  Stayed there until 10am.  Then PA called me & woke me up.  Good to talk to him.  Sure miss him.

    Had a good lunch with Cinder begging for lots of love.  She is soooo m.istreated!!!!  She thinks!!

    Had a nice afternoon nap.  Woke up with Cinder curled up against my back taking a bath.  Glad I am good for something.

    Got dressed, etc. for supper.  JR & I went to Jalisco's.  Quiet for a while when we first got there.  Had time to chat with MS & ATR.  They are cute.  I like them.  He has an easy smile for me often.  Nice.

    I had a sweet susprise while eating.  MM came & sat by me.  He was working & saw where I was.  Got nice hugs.  And he calmed my mood.  I have been so overwhelmed with depression.  I feel better. 

    We had ice cream for dessert. MA calls it nieve.  (snow). With chocolate & whipt cream.  Perfect.

    Then they got busy.  Time to go home.  Olympic time for me.  I am going to miss them when it is next week.  😢 

    STILL no glucose sensors.  Why????  Getting irritated.  But nothing to do but wait.

    Photos are many that I took today & in the past.  Will be labeled.  Had cattle  that escaped.  KN was there herding them back in.  No llamas were there.

National Chocolate-Covered Cashews Day

These are to die for.  Someone used to bring them to my Swedish group.

Today's Name Day: Anneli, Annika

    After a really busy week, today was a day of rest.  Next week is better.

    I slept pretty good..  Cinder was back & forth.  Kisse curled on my lap first for a while.  If I keep my lamp on then Cinder stays away.  Usually.

    It got cold last night ---- in the 30s.  And will do it again tonight.  Wish that would stay all summer.  I would sleep better & save money.  No AC needed.  Today was in the 60s.  Getting warmer day by day.  Usch.

    Now we are in a wind warning.  And most likely a fire warning too.  Another usch.  Rain mid to late week.  Here??? Hahaha!!!  Fat chance.

    I saw a friend saturday night & for the life of me I could not think of his name.   We chatted.  I used to drive him to his plane reservations every Christmas & I had his parents phone number in case I needed to call.  I finally wrote to a mutual friend who of course knew.  NOW I can relax!!! (-;

    Only one doctor visit this week.  Easy appointment.  Nice PA.  Just have to drive there.  Not too far.
