Saw this in town in 1921.  Loved it!!!

Today's Name Day:  Simon, Simone

    Not a bad day.  Slept fair.  Not a lot of pain.

    Email from JL.  I like those & her.  Good to talk to each other.  She is a talented artist/sewer/cook.  I can only dream.

    Lots of photos & texts from MM.  He is on they way home.  Had a very early morning layover in Washington DC.  Now headed this way.

    Had rain overnight.  I got around half an inch.  Surprised.  Ended by noon.  Now in a high wind warning.  Was around 30mph & is increasing.  Worse tomorrow & colder from from a front arriving.  Freeze warninfg for here.  Another chance of rain maybe.  Halloween should be ok weather.  Next week dry.

    We never had Halloween on our farm.  Got around 3 kids from friends.  Most fun was when Mom was in Bethany Home.  I always made sure she had a costume of a hat, long wig of blonde/red hair & a robe/gown.  The home supplied a container for candy & kept lots of candy in her room.

    One year the man across the hall did not want to participate & the help was ignoring him & he was so  upset.  Everyone who wanted to pass out candy had a poster by their door.  I finally told him I would fix it all for him.  I removed the poster, took the chair they put in his room & the container for candy.  I took it all for me & told him to just close his door & he would be ok.  Soooo.  I had my own chair, my own container that the home kept full for me.  He was happy & so was I.  I had fun!!!  Miss those days.  Just ignore it now.  JR could pass out candy but refuses to be part of anything.  I could join but not gonna happen.

    Time changes this weekend.  The heat loving people are sure whining.  Not me.  Bring winter on!!! Love it!!  It will be dark earlier but I never go far in the dark anymore.  If I want to eat somewhere special I will take myself at noon where ever I want.  Need to do that often.  If I did not have pets I could go away for a weekend but that is ok.  I would miss them too much.

11 march, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Last night was ok but my RA decided to get into high gear.  I hurt in several places.  I tried to control it the best I could.  Some better today but tired. 

    Weather got down into the 20s last night & stayed cool today.  We had chances for rain but nothing here.  Radar looked good but nothing hit the ground.  Really wish the west & the south west would get some rain.  I have no idea how there will be any crops out there.  Sad.

    Just stayed home today.  I got many photos from JS & SM.  Very nice.  Family visit today.  Looked like fun.  They sent photos of art of carvings out of tree stumps.  Awesome.  I would gladly take any of them!!  But, oh so, expensive!!

    Had a nice nap.  Just nice & cozy.  Wish Cinder would snuggle then but she never does.

    Had a near tragedy this afternoon.  All 3 fur kids decided to fight with each other!!  I threatened them all.  I need 3 bedrooms --- one for each!

    Hate the changing of times.  Just plain stupid.  Mostly for city people.  Does not help anyone else.  There are efforts to change it to one way or the other.  I do not care which.

    Photos are all old ones.  They each have something in them I like.  Others may not like.
