12/2025 - Jueves the 11th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:   Daniel

I worked with a Danny who with my friend Pete were best friends.  We had so much fun.  I miss those times.  Pete has died & think Danny works in KC.

    

    Another alone day.  Feeling ok, sort of.  Just the thought of eating makes me feel sick.  But eating is actually ok.

    Heard from MM.  Some cute photos of him & a dog.  And my friends NC.  JR sent me some videos.  Good ones!

    Wish I was not so tired.  Hard to work when I want to nap.  Just one day to get through.

    Watching the CBS news.  Nothing good on it.  The flooding in Washington state is scary.  I have relatives livning there but I do not know where.  Will get in touch with them soon.  And the political news.  Nothing good to report.

    I sat outside for a while.  Very nice outside.  In the 60s.  No animals anywhere to see.  Cooler tomorrow.  Then super cold on saturday, sunday and monday.

23 march, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Really have little to say today.  It was quiet here.  Stayed far too warm overnight.  But we all slept good.

    Cooler weather is coming & even a chance of snow/rain.

    A front has arrived here from the west.  I did not have to watch the weather to know that.  Any place on me that could hurt certainly hurt today.  No fun.  My hip had not hurt for a week or more but bad today.  When I laid down to rest on the sofa there was no comfy position.  Finally Nico & I moved to our bed.  Then I could lay without much pain.

    Nico, Cinder, & I sat out for a while this afternoon.  It was nice.  Nico rolled in the grass & they ran & played.  Cinder always rolls all over.  They laid together also.  Nice being out.  Lots of cattle near my yard.  They are calving now.  Fun to see the little ones.

    Photos today are of churches I have seen & photographed.  Most near here but some in Sweden.  A few years ago several of us toured several churches starting in Victoria KS.  Awesome churches to see.  We ended up in Hays.  I miss those days.  They were fun.

                    

14 october, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Nice day.  Slept well.  Nico must sense the weather is going to get cold.  When I rested this afternoon he stayed under the covers the entire time.

    We sat out for a while before I left for supper.  He & Cinder had time to say Hello & interact.  They are cute together.  While out, I saw our 2 deer headed to the pond.  They are so sweet looking.  Nice to give Cinder some attention also.

    Supper with JR at Jalisco's.  They were quiet when we got there then it got busier.  I guess this morning they were really busy.  Got to talk to all the kitchen help.  When we got there was one of my favorite artists.  I got to chat a bit with him.  On our way out was another favorite artist.  We got to visit also.  Her son had been here from another state but I missed seeing him.  But we are on FB & chat.

    I called my propane supplier to see if they can fix my heater so it gets propane to it.  They did it last november.  Getting cold & might need a little heat.  They even have said it might get down to 29F or so.  That might be a sofa night if I have no heat.  We were in the 80s today.  Pleasant outside with a nice breeze.  My oak tree is really losing leaves!!!  And the acorns are dropping fast!  One hit my carport roof & it sounded like someone shot at us!!!

    I got photos of the bulls today.  Content & grazing.
