01/2026 - Fredag the 16th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Anton, Tony

Had a minister as a child named Anton.  No bueno!!!  Know several  Scary.  Know several Tony's.  Used to work in town now elsewhere.  Miss them.  And my friend CW had a grandfather Tony.  I remember him as a child.

    What a day!!!  I am reeling from the entire day!!  Both good & bad.

    Started at the White Peacock waiting for LL.  I walked in & there were 2 ladies at a table I walked by.  The one I know quite well, but she barely said hello or smiled.  That is not normal.  Nice lady.  I looked at the other lady.  No one but Willie's sister who hated Willie & still hates me with a passion.  What a shock.  Of course she did not speak.  But she got to look at me the entire time she was there.

    While I was waiting CW came in for his lunch to take with him to the Stuga.  I got a big hug & some great conversation.  Sure that the 2 ladies were curious.  Good!!!

    Had a good lunch.  No more surprises.  Got to visit with MH.  Will see him tomorrow when he unlocks the SVAFC for me.  Interesting to see the show there now.  The high temp tomorrow is only 22.  Hope the gallery is warm!!

    Work was fun.  We had time to joke & chat.  Love that.  Things are getting back to normal.  The photos I am working on are boring.  Don't know anyone or what they are about.  I just do what I am told.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  MA is gone & the girls had a Mexican novela on the tv.  Soap opera!  And we agreed that the 2 males stars were "muy guapa"!!!  Very good looking!!  I got the name of it in case I can see it on my tv.  No time to look now.

    I talked to someone I have known for a long time.  I just posted a photo of a basketball team from Falun in 1980s.  He was in it.  We had a fun conversation. Great day!!!

    Got home & started to do my blog, but I could not charge my laptop.  The connector would not fit.  How could that be??  It hangs on my desk.  Felt like I had stepped on it or something.  Then I looked closer.  Where it fits in had some tiny black chunks floating in it.  Curious as what they are.  I finally found something to fish them out with & viola!!!  Charger fit in perfectly.  I remember yesterday my laptop slid off the sofa.  Must have got dirt in it from the floor.  Whew!!  I was scared!!  Charging fine now.

    I am still hurting from the cold fronts.  But today I had something new.  An earache.  Nice.  My left ear.  Still aching.  I hurt from my ear down to my knees & further.

    All in all a good day.  I worry about my ex-sis in law causing trouble for me.  She is a big trouble maker.  She ruined our family.  No need to go into it all.  Glad we have no connection anymore.

    When I left work it was lightly snowing.  Super cold tomorrow.  The high is 22 with high winds.  Tiny bit warmer on sunday then colder again on monday.  No hint of rain or snow.  Not yet.

01/2025 Torsdag the 02nd - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Svea

    Had a super fun day!!! Slept good until around 8am.  I was scared I would miss my alarm.  Finally just got up so I could relax.

    Met friends at Pizza Hut.  I used to be close friend's with her & he is from the Falun & Smolan area.  What fun conversations we had!!!  He knew everyone in my family & all of Willie's friends.  The memories & people we talked about & remembered.

    She used to work at Dillard's in the office.  Whenever they got a new perfume she would send me a card in the mail that smelled soooo good.  Willie hated those cards!  He knew they meant I would have to go shopping!!!  Funny!!

    After Pizza Hut we went to the White Peacock for more conversation.  Saw my fave artist there.  He has another art show this month.  Cannot wait to see it!!  I have missed him so much.

    I stopped at the cemetery on the way home.  With the holidays it would be a perfect time for my kids to vandalise Willie's grave.  It was ok but being there reduced me to sobbing & tears.  Just missing him.  And Nico.  Difficult week.  Friend John had lost the flowers on his grave.  Wind??? Kids took them to hurt me???  I had some flowers in the trunk.  Looks good again.

    When I got home the 2 llamas were in the pasture.  Then I found out a gate had been accidently been left open & one llama escaped.  And I missed it.   Dang!!  They are just gorgeous!  They are the first photo here at the top of the blog,

      I spent time trying to catch up some online stuff.  Then I lost my tv remote.  I searched everywhere that I remembered I had set it.  I finally begged my angels/spirits that surround me to help.  And viola!  I found it!!  Whew!!!

    The weather this weekend just keeps getting worse.  On saturday we are to have ice ---- up to a half inch.  Then snow starts in the evening.  We are now forecast to have 12 inches of snow.  And then sunday and/or monday high winds.  That means drifting & the possiblity of losing electricity.  Joyful thought.  No need for me to whine.  Learned the hard way that most people do not care about anything I feel or go through.  Best to just shut up.  Better to just imagine that no one cares rather than they activily letting me know.  ALL next week it will be super cold.  I am staying home if it is under freezing or blowing.  No need to get out in it.  Dangerous.

    Supper was spaghetti again.  So addicted to it.  Need to feed the cats also.  I was hungry so I ate,  They ate while I was gone.
