07/2026 - Tuesday the 21st - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Johanna

Went to school with a Johanna. Her dad was a professor at the college. Last time I saw her was our 50th class reunion. She died shortly after that of cancer.

Today is just a day like any other. Had an email from JL. Losing a friend who is moving away. Sad. Hate to lose someone I really like. But it has to be.

A little cooler today. Temp is 96F now. Not close to 100F. Still feels miserable out. Nice breeze.

Tried to take a nap but only rested. Gave up & showered & shampooed. Want to look good for the new doctor tomorrow. I do not want to eat too early. But still need lunch after I see him. See how I am feeling after lunch. Today my one wrist is killing me. Worse tomorrow??? And I need to see MM sometime. And need to stop in to see my insurance people. Raised my payment at least $1000. Good lord!!! Wonder if it can be changed to less?? How can I afford that?? More & more stress. But others expect lots from me. But I get little back.

And my stress messing my life up! I hate nights when I turn my lights off & my blind symptoms take over. I hate when I cannot see my bedroom door or the hallway. And parts of my room disappear. Oh, well.. I think no one cares about it all. Still no support group.

Will end this and work on spanish. Not much energy for that.

12/2025 - Sábado the 27th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Elvira, Johannes

Went to school with a Johanna. Know some Elviras in both Sweden & here.

Had an ok day. Slept late & no nap. They lied about our weather. Supposed to be warm enough to break records. Not here. Saw around 60 here. I turned no air on over night & then almost froze to death!!! Finally turned the heat on. I slept with socks on. all night. My feet felt good that way. Cinder slept with me most of the night. Was she cold also??? Kisse curls up so tight she is hidden in the bottom of her bed.

I had trash I left outside last night. I was scared to look outside this morning. But nothing touched it. Whew. I picked it up mid afternoon then sat outside for a while. I had 2 trees covered in dark colored birds just sitting & jabbering. I thought of getting my camera but figured I would be too late. Need to take my phone with me outside.

I spent all afternoon working on the holiday photos taken last night. I am lacking enough storage on my phone so I have them saved in 2 separate albums. Time consuming but I am done. I am looking at how to solve my storage problem. So frustrating.

Have some light moisture forecast for this evening. Temps are so-so then turn colder tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Kids are napping. Kisse is laying behind my head on the sofa. I threw a pillow behind me & she likes it. Cinder always takes over my bed. Too busy to join her.

I had splurged on a cute holiday watch band but I am so done with holidays. Took it off & put my other one back on. I have quit responding to any holiday wishes as of yesterday. I am done.

Enjoying photos from family in Sweden & friends in Mexico. I am still depressed about not being included in any family or friend celebrations. Those days are long over I am afraid..

I have no idea what I did but suddenly things I posted turned into web pages. Huh??? I found a button next to my blog that does that. Hate it. I will remember & be careful.

Photos are from last night. I have found a way to post from the album they are in. Easy.

Supper of potatiskarv cooked with bacon, onions, & liquid. Yummy.

Old Mill Mint ice cream. We never get there in time. It is always gone when we want some. Extra good!!

Swensson Park of a tree & gazebo. Used to have a Julbok in this park. Then if got burned down twice & never rebuilt. The it was set on fire by the same young man. Nothing was ever done to him.
