Today's Name Day:  Ola , Olaus

I have a cousin in Sweden named Per Ola.  Goes by Per.  I have met him.  Nice guy from a nice family.

    Today was a good day.  Slept well thanks to medication.  And lunch was fine with my stomach.  Great!!!

    Got wonderfully cool last night.  It was in the 30s.  Heaven.  Great sleeping!!!  Today was a bit cooler than it has been with a little stiff wind.

    I worked at the SVAFC.  The show there is all digital art.  I took no photos today.  I work one more time there & then will maybe take photos.  Show is so-so.  Odd show.

    Still no CBS for me so I brought my iPad & caught up on many shows I have saved online.  I think I am caught up.  Thank goodness I brought it with me.  Had NO guests until almost time to close.  I could have been bored to death but spent most of the afternoon catching up.

    On sundays a group of string players come in to play in our back room.  Only 3 today but beautiful music.  I know one of them quite well.  Had a nice visit with her & her daughter.

    There was lots of traffic on Main Street & quite a few people out walking but no one came in.  I saw a large group of Mennonites who all went to the ice cream shop.  Good choice.  They rarely come in to look at art.

    Had an email from JL & a photo from CF.  Ignored by everyone else.

    Supper for JR & I was Pizza Hut.  My fave waiter was working.  After a long lonely day fun to be around someone that is friendly & jokes.  And he has been made manager.  Hope he does well & can stay here.  Cool guy.  And he wants to come see where I work.  That is cool!!  Will let him know.  Maybe we can be friends?  I have hoped that before & so far has not worked out in my favor.

07/2025 - Miércoles the 02nd - JOURNEY

 

Harvest is over.  I never knew where they were & got no photos.  All my photos are old ones.  Make me miss Willie even more.  💔 😞

Today's Name Day:  Rosa, Rosita

I have known several Rosas.  Close to none.

    Another day at home alone.  Little communication.  I was awake most of last night.  Gets old.  Finally health issues calmed down & I got some sleep.  I had a short nap after lunch.

    With getting little sleep last night I was glad I had not planned to work.  Would not have survived.  Snoring at my desk is not something I want to do!!  😰

    Trash day is next week, Unable to carry out sacks of trash today,  Sometime soon.  Or at least I hope I am able to.  No one else to help.  Given up asking. 😥

    Had a short message from CF.  He always asks how I am doing.  Others never ask.  So I rarely share with those I assume do not care..  Also a short text fro AN.  Harvest is over. 🚜

    Sat outside for a while.  Nice breeze.  Had mail to open & sort & carry inside,

28 may, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I did not blog yesterday.  I was too tired from my anxiety pill.  Slept most of the day & early to bed.  Slept good last night.

    Yesterday I went to Salina with my grandson MM, his significant other KW, & my third great grandson SM.  It was KW's birthday.  We ate at Ya Ya's.  My first time there.  Good food.  Such a nice meal with people I love & who love me.  I am blessed.

    Today was a work day at the SVAFC.  This is the best art show I have ever seen.  All art is done by local people.  Just awesome.  I will share a couple of photos tomorrow.  I had a friend from out of town come in.  We talk on FB often but so nice to see him in person.  The last person to come in we a sweet lady.  As we talked we realized we knew many of the same people.  What a great talk we had.  I liked her a lot.

    Picked up JR after work & went to both cemeteries again.  I totally forgot to put flowers on my great great grandparents.  There are other relatives I should decorate.  Try to be more organized next year.  My nephew always puts a bouquet of wheat on Willie's grave.  Nice.  Someone planted flowers behind his grave.  Very sweet.  No idea who did it.  Everyone always liked Willie.

    Rain in the area.  Doubt it rains here.  Dang.

    Forgot.  My grand nephew mowed my yard 2 days ago.  Very nice.
