12/2025 - Jueves the 11th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:   Daniel

I worked with a Danny who with my friend Pete were best friends.  We had so much fun.  I miss those times.  Pete has died & think Danny works in KC.

    

    Another alone day.  Feeling ok, sort of.  Just the thought of eating makes me feel sick.  But eating is actually ok.

    Heard from MM.  Some cute photos of him & a dog.  And my friends NC.  JR sent me some videos.  Good ones!

    Wish I was not so tired.  Hard to work when I want to nap.  Just one day to get through.

    Watching the CBS news.  Nothing good on it.  The flooding in Washington state is scary.  I have relatives livning there but I do not know where.  Will get in touch with them soon.  And the political news.  Nothing good to report.

    I sat outside for a while.  Very nice outside.  In the 60s.  No animals anywhere to see.  Cooler tomorrow.  Then super cold on saturday, sunday and monday.

003/2025 Söndag the 09th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

They were near my house this afternoon.  You can see the first one was giving me the once or twice over!! 😃

Today's Name Day:  Torbjörn, Torleif

    Love the name Torbjörn.  Have a Swedish cousin iwth that name.  Have met them & spent time with them.  Nice family.

    Not a good day.  After going to bed last night I developed severe back pain.  Difficult to change positions.  Nothing helped.  No pain meds made a difference.  Why again????  Slept good without turning much.  Cinder was there off & on.  I needed her attention.

    Got up & just cancelled my day.  A challenge to walk or even sit.  I made it out on the porch briefly.  Saw the llamas.  Took a nap..  House got way too hot today.  Tomorrow will be much worse. Usch!!  Way too early for summer hot weather.  Makes the hot, humidity people happy.  They get many more months of happiness than I ever get.  Seems unfair.  😔

    MM & his kids & some friends had a fun day.  Many photos were shared.  Great to see!!!  Lucky them!

    Love 60 Minutes.  Not today.  All sports.  I really do not care.  Mostly ignored,

    Love a show called Fixer Upper.  Wish my home was remodeled.  Too late for me.  Just put up with what I have, whether I like it or not.  I have no choice.  But a fun show to watch.

    Hope I feel better so I can get out a bit tomorrow.  JR will give up on me & go eat without me.  Will make do with what I have here.  No need to bother anyone to bring me anything.  JR is unable to do that.

    Photos are a lots of coffee photos.  I took photos at work yesterday but cannot find them. They might be on my phone but not here.

                            

I love this house.  I would walk by it daily when there.

Dream house.  I wish.

Some days it is hard to feel loved let alone liked.

06/2024 Måndag the 10th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

National Frosted Cookie Day 

Today's Name Day: Boris, Svante

    And again I cancelled today.  At least the part of leaving the house.  Too tired & too much to do.  And I got it all done, with even a short nap.

    Cinder spent most of the night with me.  And was in until lunch.  While I was working outside she came from under the car.  And hung around & wanted in.  Now she is napping.

    Tomorrow is trash day.  Did not have too much this week.  One bin is bags.  The other is boxes.  Did not take too long.  After supper I washed my hair.  Did not want to but it was past due.  My last cut got shorter than usual.  Yikes!!  But so far I am adjusting.

    Not too hot today.  In the low 80s.  But heat is on the way.  Up to almost 100.  Usch.  I am surrounded now by cats.  I like that.
