10/2025 - Jueves the 23rd - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Severin, Sören

    I have had a better day.  Slept ok overnight.  Worried about MM flying today.  Flight was delayed but now on his way.  Still worrying.  Texts me often with lots of photos.  Helps my nerves!!  He is a big Packer fan & his pilot on this flight is also.  Cool.

    I ordered a new cane that is supposed to be steadier.  Seems how it works tomorrow.  It has a light on it but I am clueless how to put batteries in it.  Doubt I need it.  Maybe MM can help next week.  And it has a fold down handle to help getting up if needed.  That I will use.

    I feel better today.  Lunch did not upset my stomache so hoping work tomorrow will be good.  And eating out first.

    I sat outside for a while.  The air has a cool nip in it.  There is rain on the radar in Oklahoma.  Coming our way.  Starts around midnight.  Stayed cool today.  No AC needed.

    Cats seem to have a bigger appetites now.  In their winter mode?  Interesting.  Been a miserable summer & they did not care to eat much.  Me either.

10/2025 - Miércoles the 22nd - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Marika, Marita

    Not a good day.  Bad blood sugar all night, no sleep,  increased pain, headache.  I called in sick.  I am so tired of this.  Every day I wake up & wonder "now what will today bring?"  Seems to rarely be anything good.

    I finally had some sleep this afternoon.  MM was out here with cookies & chocolate candy for me.  Nice.  A mutual friend, W,  was with him.  He made sure I know while MM is out of state that I can call him if needed.  Nice of him.

    Weather was pleasant.  I sat outside for awhile.  Very nice.  Rain comes tomorrow evening/night.  See if I get any here.

    Photos are mostly flower  & local photos from a long time ago.  Something different.

10/2025 - Martes the 21st - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:   Ursula, Yrsa

Know an Ursula but she is not a friend to me.

    Had a good day.  Slept fair.  Weather was ok.  Slight breeze.  Cool temps.  Changes coming thursday night ---- much cooler & rain.

    Met MM for lunch at Jalisco's.  Good to see everyone.  Had a nice visit with HT.  He is a nice friend.  He always asks how I feel & if I was working today.  We ended out chat with Adios.  And it was the last I saw of him.

    MM ran into Dollar General to get Cinder & I lunch meat.  Poor Cinder was eating my leftover shrimp.  She was probably glad to see ham.  Have to get my ham from DG.  Larger package, larger slices.  Much better.

    Got home to nap.  Cinder snuggled & Kisse stayed close by.  Great nap.  I dreamed I heard my alarm to get up.  Must have been a dream.
