11/2025 - Martes the 18th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Naemi, Naima, Lillemor, Moa

Used to have a supposedly good friend named Naomi.  What a fool I was.  We had some fun times but she left me out of lots of things.  Then  she walked totally away from me.  I am better off.

Lillemore means little mother.

    A better day.  Cancelled yesterday.  Not up to going out after my bad spell at Pizza Hut.  I cancelled today out of fear.  Did not want to tempt fate.  Day turned out fine.  No flu symptoms.  Blood sugars are good.  Great to have a glucose sensor back on.  So nice.  Glad my doctor had an extra one to share.

    Heard from MM, JL, CW, CF,  JR.  Saw my bulls yesterday.  No photo yet.  Glad they are back.  Love having cattle here. 

    Not eaten much today.  Blood sugar was good overnight with little food.  Same for today.

    Little cooler today.  The rain has finally moved out of California & coming my way.  Rain starts on thursday.  And colder.  I am ready.  Chance of rain/snow on Thanksgiving.  Great!!

    Thanksgiving is in JR's office.  Like years ago.  Have to see what tv dinner I can find to bring for me.  JR can do what he wants.  Hopefully they have a turkey one.  But I am flexible.

Me at MM's yesterday,  Gracie was so excited to see me at the door!!  She curled up on my lap & next to me on the sofa.  I should go visit her often.  She is so lovable!!

                                                    

10/2025 - Miércoles the 29th - MY JOURNEY

 

Love my kids.  Miss Nico.  When he died I lost a huge part of my heart & soul.

Today's Name Day:  Viola 💕

Good friends with a sweet lady named Viola.  She & her husband were god parents to our son.  Was good friends with her daughter-in-law years ago.  Miss her & her husband.  They lived in Falun. KS.

    Not a good day.  Awake all night & no sleep.  So no work today.  Or eating out.  Tired of being sick.  Or sickly.

    I took a short nap after lunch.  Woke up early.

    Some texts today.  Mostly from MM.  Back at the hospital having his ribs checked out.  Has 2 broken ribs.  Hope all is ok.  One email from JL.  A photo from CF but nothing more.  Photo from the Sale BARn about a party on friday night.  Would be fun but I won't be there.  Dang.  I would feel out of place.

    Major stress about finances.  Gotta spend less & I expect at least 1 other to help.  Spending far too much.  When my money is gone it all ends for everyone.

    Freeze warning for tomorrow morning.  See if that happens.  I feel chilly today but the temp inside is normal.  No more rain.  Then friday is ok.  Not too cold or windy.  Does not matter to me.  Might eat supper out.

National Sock Day

Name Day is Barbro

    I had a great day!!!   Nico slept good last night on the bed --- sometimes on the covers, sometimes under the blanket.   I finally got some normal sleep.   Nice to feel rested.   A rare night.

    Had lunch scheduled with MM.   We met at Jalisco's.   They were really busy.   We had a great visit.   And he is feeling better & doing better.

    With my iPhone being new & the software being updated, I lost my Car Play.   Very frustrating.   MM fixed it after lunch.   I can now get phone calls, messages, & music!!   Ahhhh.   Life is good!!

    After lunch I met LL at the White Peacock for coffee.   So nice to see her & visit.   Good talk.   Great way to end my day in town.

    Before lunch I went to the car wash.   A group of birds gathered over my car at the Red Barn & soiled my car.   It was ugly.   BUT.   On leaving the Peacock I had bird poo on my car in 2 places again.   Grrrrr.

    Got pretty cold last night.   I saw  27F.   Today is pretty nice.   Got up to 55F.   There was snow forecast for the coming weekend.   Then last night on the weather they took the snow out & said it is no where near us at all.   )-;   NOW on the weather they are sort of putting the snow back in, but not sure of the track of it.   If it could wait until Sunday it would be great.   Christmas celebration in Lindsborg on Saturday.
