Today's Name Day:Terese, Teresia
I went to school with a Terese. Just saw her recently. Have a neighbor who the wife is a Terese. I tried so hard to be friends with her, but like all the other friends of Willie we never became friends. It was close but no cigar. There came a time when I gave up & no longer cared. They had their lives & friends. Sad to be on the outside. FML.
Great day!! Stayed cloudy & cool. Rain all afternoon was forecast but they lied. As usual. I have talked to several area farmers who all say the same thing ---- the rain always misses us here. Salina gets rains & so does Assaria. Not our farms & pasture lands. So sad.
Worked today at the SVAFC. MH was late unlocking. He was napping & almost did not make it!!! He worked yesterday & had no visitors. Hard days. But I had several visitors. One I know well who stayed to talk, Love his company. We are close enough in age we know many of the same people & times. Fun.
I always bring my charger from home to charge my phone with. But part of it is lost. Hope I find it in the bedroom. Not in my car or living room. I do have another one so should be ok.
JH was there today working on the new handicapped bathroom. He was noisy today!!! And we now have a bathroom door!!! Next week the sink & toilet arrive. Getting close to being done.
After work I walked across the street to see MM at the Stuga. I had a rum & coke with a ham sandwich. Perfect meal. They were very busy today!
Today was some blooming flower thing in town. Brings out all the hippies. I am not impressed. Lots of people walked by but few came in. Typical.
