Today's Name Day: Lars
I had a great friend who lived in LBK for around 3 months. He had no car so I drove him where he needed to go. I also gave him Mom's cellphone. He was so much fun. And is a great artist. But I made the mistake of visiting him in Sweden on Marstrand. That ruined our friendship. I am sure we are no longer friends. Name is Lars Bäckman. So sorry. Plus a photo of him & his art.
Today could have been better. Awake until 5am. Finally relaxed & slept some. Then finished ordering groceries & I cancelled my doctor appointment in Hutchinson. I just refuse to drive 2 hours one way in temps of 110F. That was my temp here yesterday. Today I saw 103.8F for my high. Down to 102F now.
Yesterday my car stayed super hot all day. When I went to drive home from supper it did not work correctly. I could not increase my speed. My cruise control would not work. It all finally worked ok. Be my luck to have. trouble driving today. Doctor office was nice about it. Hopefully first week of September will be ok.
I picked up my groceries at 1pm. Great!! Cinder & I are happy. She even laid on me for a long nap. Unusual.
Daisy no longer likes the wet food. Who knows why? I give her what she likes best and some dry food. I want to sit out with her. Maybe later this week.
I even slept this afternoon I must have been tired.
School starting this week I think. Seems like a short summer to me.
I have decided not to make any comments about how I feel or what I think. I got hurt buy several "friends". Just done. Most of those friends don't know me well but still judged me.
This morning there was no sun. Only smoke from western USA. So far it has not bothered me. Cloudy again now.
Mom & 2 other ladies worked in the city bakery when they were young. The bakery is now Jalisco's. I was glad to catch the same ladies when a bit older & get a nice photo of them.
