10/2026 - Sunday the 11th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:   Jarl , Erling

I think Jarl is the same as Carl.  Not positive.  The only Erling I know is the awesone soccer player from Norway.  Row, row, row!!!

    I will go through my night as it happened last night.  I waited all week for SNL.  Just as it started Oso called me.  We talked through the entire show.  
But I got it all watched today.  Better to talk to Oso.  I sure miss him. We have a strong connection.  I am lucky for him in my life.

 

    Then Daisy came & snuggled on my chest.  So sweet.  Then Daisy & Kisse spent 30 minutes or so chasing up & down the hallway & fighting.  They almost ended up fighting on my lap!!!  Finally they quit without spilling cat food all over the hallway!!  Daisy has a new hiding place so she was gone.  Kisse was hiding somewhere also.  Cinder who knows where she was.  I could not feel tired in any way.

    At 415AM my phone rang.  It was my Bangledesh son calling me.  It was 415PM for him.  We are 25 hours apart.  We had a nice visit.  I could hear his kids.  He has a girl & a boy.  He is a joy to me.

    Still no sleep.  Finally around 6am I drifted off.  I slept until 1130am.  I ate a quiet lunch & back to bed.

    Supper was at the Sale Barn.  MM was working so I got to see him.  They were a little busy.  Just nice to be out with people.  And good food.  Burger, cheese, egg, bacon, fries.

    And here I am.  Day is done. Still a bit tired.  Cats are ok.  Some chasing but calm now

Not a clue what was going on here.  In my memoires today.

National Radio Day

Today's Name Day:  Jonna, Jon

I have had a friend named Jon since the 1990's.  Cool guy.  Interesting.  Have a FB friend named Jonna now,

    Today was a good day.  Slept good.  Less pain.  Always nice.  No need to share how I feel.  Will quit.  No one cares.  Just tired of it all.

    Had lunch with LL at the White Peacock.  I always try to get there early.  We have a table we prefer.  Sometimes if I get there early we can get our table.  A man was at our table.  And he soon left.  Then I moved.  Perfect.  I had a table but it is small and no place for my cane.  Perfect.  We both had biscuits & gravy.  My fave.

    Then I looked for a parking place for work.  Got a close one.  Worked for SVAFC.  A friend came in & was positive she & I are related..  I told her there was no way.  I am right.  Not even one.  But her visit killed lots of time.  And we visited a lot.

    Not many visitors came in today.  I miss that.  I saw one of my favorite visitors who would not come in & interrupt my visiting,  Maybe next time.

    I got a reminder from my doc in Hutch.  I cancelleld an appointment when it was 110F outside. & they picked a day.  Dang.  They  picked this friday.  Guess I will miss work.  And cannot work at the SVAFC.  No happy.  But after this appointment I can get my glucose sensors again.  Hate that company.  A lot was not explained to me.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  And found out a good friend has moved away,  I am sad.  Will miss him.

    Maybe rain tonight,  Maybe tomorrow.  Cooler tonight.  Great.  High today was 102F.  And humid.
