01/2026 - Torsdag the 22nd - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Victor, Vincent

I have known several Victors. Mom sewed for a clothing store owner named Carl Victor Hanson. Cool guy. His son & I were in the same class. He is an awesome guy too. Nice memory!!

Had a better day. Got sick last night but today was ok. Lunch was fine. Not sure how much to eat so it was a guess.

I took a short nap. With my babysitters. Kisse was in bed with me twice. Cinder is all curled in front of my TV now.

I got up & washed some dishes. Long overdue.

MM was here this morning early. He rearranged some boxes & supplies outside. Helped me a lot. I did more after lunch.

Had an email from JL & a photo from CF but no visit. Normal. JR quiet so far. KN texted me to see if I needed anything before the storm. Think I am ok. He can move boxes after the storm. Must keep my water dripping!! Maybe do the kitchen this time also.

Weather continues as they have said for days. Snow maybe lasting a bit longer than originally forecast. Two separate fronts coming here. Explains my aches & pains.

Many stores, activities, games, etc. are closing this weekend state wide. Many here in Lindsborg. Even the Old Mill. I hope they close so my coworkers are home safe. One restaurant in Marquette is closed from now until Sunday. Not sure they will get a lot a business even on sunday noon.

MM made the mistake of offering to bring me anything I want tomorrow morning. And by gosh I sent a request. I have no idea of his work schedule so he maybe he cannot bring it out but I took a chance!!! I am so brave!! Be part of my writing today!! (Just got a text. MM will make it happen!!!!! 💓)

I have trouble with my feet & think that compression socks could help. But they are all too tight & hurt. I finally saw some that are larger. They came today. Not difficult to put on. And feel ok. Maybe will help.

Alert from the weathermen ---- the first front is now in Kansas. Temps will be dropping soon.

Photos are a mix. The ones I added are old ones that I think I never used.. So if they look familiar & I apologize. I looked at some old blogs & did not find them. I hope.
