Out and About

Started the day at Jalisco's for lunch with my daughter. I did not have much appetite but I had something different and it was good. One waiter was pretty quiet. Not feeling the best.

Then my daughter drove me to Abilene to get my insulin. I have about had it with both the pharmacy and the doctor's office. Just saw my doctor and both he and his nurse assured me I was set for insulin through february. I call the pharmacy and they have nothing. Nada. They said they would call and when I hung up I called the office and talked to a nurse. I would have run out around sunday. Changing pharmacy for just my insulin in february.

I am feeling pretty good. Tired today. Tried to nap but Nico had other ideas.

I try to not drink Pepsi or Coke at home. And never diet. Just too unhealthy. So I have one when I eat out. But today I do not care. I am sick and I WANT a soda!

Stayed really cold today. Really cold. The wind had come up and the house got cold but no wind now. Much better.

I am so thankful for my daughter. I have never had anyone to actually help me when I need it. Or someone who does not moan and groan when I ask. I try not to take advantage of her. I remember all I did for Mom and Dad. I always made sure they ate out as often as they wanted, went to doctor's appointments, and to church. I just assumed I would never have anyone like that in my life. I am lucky. We had fun today. Even shopped at Dollar General!
