I took Nico out around noon and I swore I heard a combine. And I was right. My old wheat field across the road. There were 2 combines and tractor and semi. I wanted to cry but I did not. I sure have Willie on my mind a lot now. I took what photos I could when I went to town. I saw several others cutting when I went to Lindsborg. So of course, rain is forecast. Oh, the joy of being a farmer! Not my circus anymore but I still worry.
Nico got a pedicure. And then I dared to go out for supper. So tonight he is a bit tired. I got a new pill for him. I hope he ate most of it. He is a problem. But a dearly loved one.
Supper at Jalisco's. Where else? I am comfortable there and always treated very well. I always get arroz con camarones but never want salad with it. So I ordered and then I heard my name from the kitchen. They always tell the cook when it is my order so they know how to fix. I am spoiled.
Photos today are one of Willie, old photo of our combines, the farm, flowers, and harvest this year. Hope I can luck into other harvest photos. My brother and I went to the local cemetery. Mom's twin's grave is supposed to have a stone I bought. Not there yet. And I was greeted back home with one turkey vulture!
