Family - Familia

What a wonderful day yesterday was. Our cousin was here from Kentucky. We do not get to see each other very often. He brought a box of photos. Many were not on our side but, oh the ones that were our family! Wonderful! I have many photos I will send him. He is from my dad's side. So many of them I never knew. Wish I did but was not to be. My dad's mom died when I was young, like my mom's mom. Wish I had a grandmother. My life would have been so different.

We drove around town and looked at where we were born and lived.

Later my brother and I looked at 2 cemeteries then up to Coronado Heights and the castle. Love it up there. A really good day. And I did shed a few tears at the memories.

Today I went to Hutchinson to see a new diabetic doctor. I like him. Very nice. Ate at Jalisco's first. Great to visit with my ornery friends. And I even got a hug. That is a very rare occasion but I always like it!

We had rain and thunder early this morning. How nice. Stayed cloudy for a long time. The sunny and humid. So ready for autumn.
