After the 4th

Quiet day. I left Nico home alone too many hours yesterday. He was a mess last night. Barked, wanted to play, ourside many times. I had plans for today but I could not have driven to Wichita if I had to. So today it just me and Nico. Hopefully.

It is a little cooler today. Only got to 90F. The weather kept saying a shower was going to start. They lied. Not much on the radar.

I spent the 4th of July on Coronado Heights. We hoped that there would be people there shooting off their fireworks. Not much. I left the wrong lens for my camera at home. I got no photos. My brother took photos of fireworks of those in town. Some looked pretty good! It was fun to be there and see the entire town with all the fireworks!

I started a conversation with a man up on the hill who was walking by. And what a surprise! He works with my grandson. Very nice man. He would make a good friend. Who knows. Maybe.
