01/2025 Onsdag the 08th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

He is my ultimate favorite.  I always wanted to see him in Vegas.  He was there when we were there but were't brave enough to try for tickets.  But we saw him live on Oct. 3, 1974 in Wichita, Kansas.  Still takes my breath away.  Best show!!!

Today's Name Day:  Erland

    I am sooo tired.  Set my alarm for 7am.  Have some things arriving today that I have to sign for,  Who knows what time???  I have had numerous &  various texts telling me different times.  Started with 6:10pm, 11:15am, 3:20pm, & finally between 4:15pm & 7:15pm.  I am going on that one for now.  I got a little sleep this morning.  I was sure I would hear UPS knocking on my front door from my sofa.  Wish they would get here already,  OK??!!

    Cats have followed me all day to sleep close to me.  Cinder is either on my or on my pillow on the sofa arm rest.

    I am now cleaning up everything on DishTV I have saved.  Watching Christmas at Rockfeller Center.  Saw the end but not the beginning.  Would have been fun to be there.  Gorgous & great talent performing.  Beautiful lights.  And they turn on the tree later.  Plus the Rockettes performing.  Saw them live in Nebraska on a bus trip.  Be fun to have trips to take again.  Wish they had ones that I could do with minimal help.  Really miss those days.  

    But do not miss who I traveled with,  All was well until our last trip & the best one.  Even travelling with someone so hateful.  She truly stabbed me in the back.  I can be pleasant to her but she continues to twist the knife.  One of these days. I will end our "friendship" for good.  And I am not the only one who has trouble with her.  There is a long line.

    Still very cold out.  Saw -6 this morning. & the high today was 23.  Schools are still closed.  People are constantly asking how this road or that road are to travel.  They keep telling people to stay home but no one listens.

 

    Will sign off for now.  Mail on the porch again. BUT.  Post office mail from the local post office.  I need to try to drive down to the mail box.  But won't try.
