Miserable

Still sick. Throat not sore but sneezing and coughing. I had a coughing spell this afternoon my chest felt like it was on fire. Had a fun event to go to tonight. Cannot go.

I sort of feel like Christmas has past me by. I miss the old traditions that we always did. Mom did not do many Swedish things but a few. Probably the only one it matters to is me. But I still miss what we did.

I have not done one Christmas card yet. I really do not want to but maybe tonight and tomorrow. I cannot find my list of who I sent to and who sent to us. Had it last year. I usually make my own cards but not this year.

Mom died on Christmas Eve. It is bothering more than usual this year. I am sure that most do not remember or care but does not make my pain any less.

It was warm enough for Nico to be outside. Good for me so I could nap while he was out. Cold is coming this weekend and all next week. But it is winter so it should be cold. I have kind of given up on getting the snow I love. Better to not expect it and maybe get surprised.
