I am in severe pain today. Why??? I am clueless. My back is unbearable. Hard to even turn in bed. My left knee is the same. I have had back pain most of my adult life but not one doctor or chiropractor ever thought to take an xray. My acupuncturist did. The lower end of my spine curves to one side. Maybe when I was young I could have been helped but too late now. I probably own every pain relief cream invented. Nothing works this time. Before eating out tonight I used some hemp cream. And some tylenol. I got some relief. Then I get home and Nico insists I get up a dozen times. He was out to potty, he has food and treats and water. But HAD to go out again for no reason. My patience is wearing thin. He is asleep now and best stay that way.

I went to my Swedish group today. It was sort of ok. The joy is gone. We are all spaced out. Some took off their masks and left them off. We passed the microphone around and show and tell things but only 3 of us sanitized our hands after each. And no food. Unless you bring your own. Not the same.
But I am excited about one thing. An old --- not in age --- friend is moving back to town. Great! I am going to really try to see him often. He speaks perfect Swedish and maybe he can at least help me with pronunciation. So great to see him.
Afterwards JR2 ate at Jalisco's. The manager's son IA1 was helping out. I had to look twice. He has really changed and looks so grown up. Cool!
I had meds to pick up and a painting to pick up. New med for my itchy hands. There were several paintings of several Lindsborg citizens that no one knew who they were. One was a relative of mine, A. B. Train. Mom always called him Uncle Albert but he was not her uncle. They gave those paintings away. I got A. B. Train. I am so honored. The artist is Anton Pearson.
I tried to nap at home but could not for long. Hurt too much.
Back to Jalisco's for supper with JR. JS was sitting in my booth so I sat next to him. He asked if I would buy him supper and a beer. When I ask for a tequila he gives me a lecture that Jalisco's is a RESTAURANT not a BAR. There is no alcohol. I got to give HIM his own lecture!! He was in a good mood and made me laugh. A nice moment.
I will explain the photos tonight.
Finally, I can wear makeup!!

My feet and my brother's foot at soccer at Bethany College. Good times. Hope there are more.

Ceramic art by Inga Bow from Abilene KS. She would grow or pick wildflowers and lay them on clay. The fire it. The plants would burn away and then she would paint the plants in the ceramic. And fire again. I was lucky to visit her studio a couple of times. She died a few years ago.
