The cold front finally got here. It was in the 50s to 60s overnight. Stayed cold all morning. Warmed up a bit in the afternoon. I got home and was freezing. Tried to take a nap but it was not a good one. I was cold. My feet got cold. I kept thinking about or dreaming about a friend's family who just had a death. And I really did not know her family. So odd. Got up and put my socks on and turned the heat up. NOW I feel much better.
The high school won a big football game on friday. JR was there and took photos. He said my friend who mows my yard had a great game. He posted photos tonite from the game. Had two of my friend so I sent them to him. And congratulated him!
I live in a Swedish town so we sometimes eat food that most Americans never eat or heard of. For supper tonight I had a ham sandwich with mayo and lingonberries on it. Too good for words. A coffee house has a sandwich like that so I copied. Poor Nico hates mayo in any way. He turns green!!! Good I do not have to share!
Had lunch today at Jalisco's with JR. Good food. Some conversation with the staff. Not too busy. As bad as Covid is most people who come in wear no masks. All waitstaff wear masks. And since we are a red state, I wonder how many are vaccinated. I always wear a mask with around people. I try to get a booth in the corner away from most people. MA measured it and is 6 feet away from the nearest table. And the booths have very tall backs. That helps.
