Wandering, 10 november 2021

    I was so excited that we had rain forecast.  I should have known better.  We got mist.  Oh the excitement.

    Today was a work day at the Old Mill.  It was the longest afternoon of my life.  I kept looking at the clock and the time just dragged.  Then I was reminded that the clock had not been changed!!  I was 15 minutes late leaving!  No big deal.  Still a good day considering the errors I made.  I am sure it was all from the time change!

    JR, PM, and I had supper together.  I enjoy our threesomes.  Jalisco's was fairly busy.  Good.

    In town there are some Christmas lights up.  I like that.  I heard some complaining but they are never up long enough.  I never took any photos of them yet.  Another night.  I miss having lights and a tree.  But I cannot hang outside lights and no one to do it for me.  And no tree inside.  My fur kids would wreck it.  I had a tree in my bedroom on a table.  In december I would move it out to the living room.  Late one night it came crashing to the floor thanks to Kisse.  No more tree.  Very irritating.   

    Covid is just scary.  Our hospital is now has a cluster of cases.  A friend had a post surgical app't but they sent him to the next town.  And I was just there for an app't.  Nice.  One church has a cluster but there were a lot of cars there tonight.  Scary.  I would avoid it.  As long as people refuse to get the shot, to distance, and to wear a mask, we will never be better.  Never.
