Today was an uneventful day. Just quiet. I like that. It was hot again. Temps were 73F & 101F. Thursday is cool. Finally. Wednesday much cooler than today.
Most of the day I spent watching the Queen's funeral. I taped it early this morning. I found a comfy position to sit & then watched it all. Very touching. A once in a lifetime occasion. And I have read a lot about the family.
I have not eaten very much since I was sick the other night. Did not eat enough for lunch! Low blood sugar. Not too bad. It happens. After all these years, I don't even bat an eye.
I thought my turkey vultures were gone but I was wrong. Saw one the other evening. Field sparrows are gone, at least from my pasture. Fewer grasshoppers & many are dying. Great!
I always look at my memories that I get on FB. Wish I had not today. I had upset someone close a year ago. I never meant to upset anyone. I merely offered to help a friend but OMG it was taken wrong. Maybe that explains why I never get asked to spend time with him. Really upset me to read the letter I got. Almost cried. Hopefully he has forgotten too. Or maybe it explains a lot of things. Still learning to be quiet & say little. No joking period.
Kisse was missing all afternoon. No idea where she was napping at. She is an odd cat. Nico is always close. And when he naps, he must touch me at all times. Nice there is someone or something who likes to be near me.
