17 october, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

It really got cold last night.  Our first freeze of this winter season.  Our temps were 32F & 55F.  Sleeping was not bad but getting up the house was really cold. Took forever for my heater to warm us up.

Today would have been Willie's 81st birthday.  Our great grand nephew was born on his birthday.  Willie was so thrilled he beamed all day.  They even celebrated a couple times together.  I usually handle his birthday pretty well but today I did not.  A nice comment by our niece made me cry.  That is ok.  I even dreamed about Willie last night.

My propane company called me today.  They did not really want to come out & said they do not do anything to heating units.  But they sent someone out.  And lo & behold, they saw that I had no propane & the line going to my house was turned off.  The propane truck came & tried to fill my tank but it was apparent there was a bad leak under ground.  So they replaced a bunch of things & ran a new connection.  So nice to have heat in the house again!!  Especially tonight.  It is going to be around 26F.  Brrrr.
I forced myself to wash my hair, in icy water.  But I had no choice!  See my stylist on thursday.  I just could not go to him with my hair such a mess.
I rested this afternoon.  No sleep.  Just nice to calm down after so much stress.
I had to get a new Venmo card.  What a mess.  They sent me a new card with a different number that was in my app.  And there was no way to get it to work  Took 2 calls to Venmo to straighten it out.  Another new card is on the way.  I was beyond stressed last night.
Photos today are just a mix of nothing important.
