World Meditation Day
Today's Name Day: Carola, Karolina
Had a quiet day after a terrible stormy night. Thankful the worst was not here. The worst was south & west of me. Several towns have severe damage from either a tornado or straight line winds. Salina, the town just north of me had winds of 100mph. Yikes! Several towns had no school today or tomorrow. Or electricty. All we had here was heavy rain. Got around 2 inches of much needed rain. Our winds were mild. I heard small hail but never saw it. Some places had hail softball size or their yards turned white. Not good for wheat. More storms tonight in the far west & again tomorrow night but not sure where.
On my Lindsborg Now group there is an uproar about a decision we made years. We don't a;llow anyone to post their yard sales. Same goes for houses for sale or rent or open houses. You let one post & suddenly there are dozens & dozens of the same thing & everything else gets lots. Someone tried to sort of bully me saying that group is just a small community page. Well, we have 7,000+ members. It keeps me busy. If I wake up in the middle of the night I check it to see what is going in. And take care of any trouble or new members. And very often all day. There are 2 other groups that allow yard sales. Use them.
I had no plans for today. A quiet day. Could have been a Jammie Day but I got dressed!!
Cooler today. Was 90 yesterday but only 80 today. About the same tomorrow then a cool down.
