Great Saturday

What a pleasant day! Nico and I slept until 12 noon. And the temperature outside was OK. So glad the Dome of Heat has moved away from here.

I met friends for coffee at the White Peacock. They just returned from a Sweden and Germany trip. They brought me a gorgeous tray, 2 magazines and a newspaper. So wonderful!! We had a great visit.

I had supper at Jalisco's. Not too hungry but had a burrito and then some ice cream for dessert. The workers were all in good spirits. Had lots of jokes with them! Always nice to feel good inside!

I was hoping for rain today but no luck. Keeps raining west of us but nothing here. Would love heavy rain overnight with lightning and thunder. No strong winds though.

Had an earthquake about an hour from us. I did not feel it. I was walking in the house. Maybe if I had been sitting I might have felt it.
