Día perdido

Hoy no va como lo planeé. Nico y yo dormimos hasta tarde. Pero tuve que cancelar la comida y mi clase de sueco. Todavía estamos sembrando trigo y soy su ayudante para mover tractores y más. Pensé que si intentaba ir a algún lado, me prepararía y me llamarían. O solo pide comida y recibe la llamada. Demasiado estrés. Más fácil para mí cancelar.

El clima de ayer fue simplemente increíble. Cálido y sin vientos huracanados. Es bueno que Nico salga todo el día. Mucho más fresco hoy con algo de viento. Nico salió por un tiempo esta tarde. Estaba soleado entonces. Mañana es muy frío, ventoso y tal vez llueva.

Fotos de hoy son de un viaje a Utah, Nuevo México y Colorado hace un par de años. Ojalá pudiera volver a hacerlo. ¡Increíble!

     

Lost day

Today is not going like I planned. Nico and I slept late. But I had to cancel eating out and my Swedish class. We are still sowing wheat and I am his helper to move tractors and more. I figured if I tried to go anywhere, I would get all ready and then get called. Or just order food and get the call. Too much stress. Easier on me to cancel.

The weather yesterday was just awesome. Warm and no gale force winds. Nice for Nico to be out all day. Much cooler today with some wind. Nico went out for a while this afternoon. It was sunny then. Tomorrow is really cold, windy, and maybe rain. 

Photos today are from a trip to Utah, New Mexico, & Colorado a couple of years ago. Wish I could go on it again. Awesome!  

     

Día aburrido pero relajante

No hice nada hoy. Había planeado ir a la ciudad, pero era demasiado flojo.

Hace mucho frío. Fue 20F o -6.6. Sin viento, eso ayudó. En realidad, mi habitación estaba demasiado caliente toda la noche. Duro para dormir A diferencia de Nico, quien duerme bien.

Nico ha sido flojo hoy. Muchas siestas. Salimos afuera por un tiempo. Cálido en el sol. Tomé algunas fotos e hice un video en vivo de Facebook.

Con suerte, la mayor parte de nuestro trigo se plantará este fin de semana mientras tenemos ayuda. Difícil para mi cónyuge hacerlo solo. Y él no debería estar trabajando solo. Tengo miedos y mucho estrés

Divertido domingo de mañana y luego viene otro frente frío.

Boring Day but Relaxing

I did nothing today. I had planned on going to town but too lazy.

Got really cold last night. It was 20F or -6.6. No wind so that helped. Actually my bedroom was too warm all night. Hard to sleep. Unlike Nico who sleeps well.

Nico has been lazy today. Lots of napping. We did go outside for a while. Warm in the sun. I took some photos and did a Facebook Live video.

Hopefully most of our wheat will be planted this weekend while we have help. Hard for my spouse to do it all alone. And he should not be working alone. I have fears and lots of stress

Fun sunday tomorrow and then another cold front coming.

Bueno y menos que bueno

Ayer fui a ver a 2 amigos. Uno me dio un tratamiento de reiki mientras meditaba. Increíble. Tuve una lectura psíquica por el otro. Muy interesante. Demasiado personal para compartir pero me siento realmente bien después. ¡Y no lloré esta vez!

Hoy no comenzó bien. Perdí mi grupo sueco. Tenía un fuerte dolor de cabeza y simplemente me quedé en casa y en la cama. Mejoré tarde en la tarde.

La tarde fue bastante buena. Nico tomó una larga siesta en el sofá. Luego salió afuera. El sol estaba caliente, así que lo dejé fuera por un tiempo. Lo vi tirado en la hierba absorbiendo los rayos !!

Sobre la hora en que iba a traerlo, mi esposo me llamó y necesitaba un aventón. Entonces Nico y yo hicimos un agradable viaje al lado oeste de la ciudad. Realmente disfrutó de la equitación. ¡Bien, aprende que no todos los viajes en coche terminan en los veterinarios! Llegamos a casa y él tomó otra siesta.

Realmente frío anoche y mucho más frío esta noche. Bajo puede golpear 22F o -5.5C. Brrr. ¡Sin embargo, para dormir bien! No hay lluvia o nieve aquí sin embargo.

Good and less than good

Yesterday I went to see 2 friends. One gave me a reiki treatment while I meditated. Awesome. I had a psychic reading by the other. Very interesting. Too personal to share but I feel really good afterwards. And I did not cry this time! 

Today did not start good. Missed my Swedish group. Had a bad headache and just stayed home and in bed. Got better late in the afternoon.

The afternoon was pretty good. Nico took a long nap on the sofa. Then he went outside. The sun felt warm so I left him out for a while. I saw him laying in the grass soaking up the rays!!

About the time I was going to bring him in my spouse called and needed a ride. So Nico and I had a nice ride to the west side of town. He really enjoyed riding. Good he learns that not every car trip ends at the vets! We got home and he took another nap.

Really cold last night and much colder tonight. Low might hit 22F or -5.5C. Brrr. Makes for good sleeping though! No rain or snow here though.
