Birthday Trip

I am back after an exciting weekend! It was my birthday last friday. I had lunch with my friend J, daughter, and brother. My waiter friend JS gave me a wonderful gift! In a huge bag! Wow! Then the staff sang to me while JS slathered whipped cream on my nose and chin. What a mess! My brother took photos of it all!

That evening my spouse took me out to eat. Great BBQ!

Saturday I had a light lunch at Jalisco's then left town with my friends N & D. We went to a historical meeting and high tea in Hesston KS. It was very interesting. I enjoyed it all. And great food! Each table had a bouquet of roses on it. I got to take it home for my birthday.

We stayed overnight in Wichita. Supper was in Ruben's Mexican Grill. Awesome. I had a pork burrito with a pork sauce over it and a friend egg on top. 

Then N and I went to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for the Spanish mass. We were lost often but I loved the service and hope to return.

On sunday we went to the brunch at Ya Ya's. So much food!! And a mimosa! I We loved it. One of my fave places. After brunch we went to a movie called Lady Bird. I enjoyed it.

Then home. My best birthday ever!!
