The Plague, Day 117.....

Busy day, how I love saying that!! Started with lunch at Jalisco's. They were really busy. Ate with my brother, JR. The staff is so good to us. They know where I like to sit but there were 2 boys in my booth. Their dad is the cook. They left soon so we got moved to my booth!! The got really busy so I told the manager, MA, just to tell us if we need to leave. He did soon. He can always do that.

Had a phone call from a friend before lunch. Had a fun visit with MBH. Miss seeing her.

I took a long nap in the afternoon knowing I was busy all evening. Nice to snuggle with the kids near!

Tonight I volunteered at the Red Barn where I used to work. I had people register in a raffle for a free pie. We sold tickets for pieces of pie and homemade ice cream. I had ice cream. Too good for words. We saved all the sign in sheets in case anyone comes down with Covid 19. Hopefully no one will. I sanitized all the pens between people using them. It was miserably hot and humid. And having to wear a mask did not help. I turned into the "mask man" from my FB group!! It was fun to visit with others working there. There was a guy sitting near us so I asked who he was. And found out he is the son of a man I grew up with. He was super nice and we had a nice visit.

The Red Barn has an art auction planned and I always work at it. One of my favorite days. But this time it is only online. I am so sad. Dang. Thanks to Covid 19.

Last night in the middle of the night I looked out the window and saw a strange small dog like animal come near the house. Then he stopped and left. When I took Nico out around 7am, it was still around the house. A small coyote. Nico barked and he ran to the pasture. Often Nico has a major meltdown looking out the window during the night. Maybe that is what he sees.

While worked I was texting my grandson MM. Great to hear from him. Miss seeing him. When I feel it is safe to travel, I will.

A good friend who has been away from here for a couple of years has returned. I just missed seeing him last night. Road trip when he gets settled.
