World Giraffe Day
What a great night last night. We had a real thunderstorm & lots of rain. Well, it seemed like lots. Not emptied the gauge yet. And even better is that on the first day of summer it never got out of the 70s. Awesome!!! Perfect day!! Rain is trying to start up again tonight & again tomorrow. 💨💧💦
Harvest is at a standstill. Sad, but farmers are used to that. Not happy but used to it.
I cancelled today. Increased pain & hard to walk or find a comfy position in bed. RA is great. 😓 I hate missing work & it creates so much guilt in me. Plus this has been just the worst week for a long long time. I do not want to see anyone for any reason. Trying to smile & not cry is hard. And not being honest in how I am is too hard. Plus knowing that few care hurts.
Cinder was out for a while in the rain but came in when offered. She was back out later in the day but when I took Nico out she was by the door waiting to get in.
A couple of days ago I saw a black cat near our pasture gate. But it was not the adult black cat from the neighbours. It looked like a very young cat. It watched us but never came near. I cannot afford another cat! Or dog!
Tomorrow is a nothing day. I need some groceries so I should plan a Dillons trip tomorrow or saturday.
