National Napping Day

Today's Name Day: Edvon, Egon

    Sort of a better day.  I was up early to head to AuBurn Pharmacy to get a Covid test.  And I am glad to say I do not have Covid.  Still sick with a horrendous cold.  I am so tired of feeling sick.  I want my life back,

    Having trouble sleeping.  I am either too cold or too hot.  Or I hurt too much.  Last night I changed the blanket on my bed.  Made a difference.  Slept like a baby.  No idea why that matters.  💤😁

    Had a long nap this afternoon.  Felt so good.

    Cinder was outside today.  Kisse stayed near me all day inside.  Nice to have her close.  Cinder wants out again.  Nope, too late.  She will survive.

    Got photos of 2 great grandsons.  That makes my day.  They are so special.  And am missing them.  Plus I hear from a distant cousin often.  Without a doubt we love each other but have never met.  Both of us too old to travel so far.  But distance does not stop our unconditional love.

    I tried a new to me soup for supper.  Chicken with dumplings.  I really like it!!  Have to buy it again.  My vanilla ice cream is gone. 😞. But I have ice cream from Indigo Moo'd.  Excellent!!

My father worked here many years ago as a mechanic.

I just bought this.  Not here yet.  Very old.  I do not remember that store but am familiar with with the Runbeck name.  Oh, to go back to those prices!!!

I did not buy this card.  It was a church north of where I live.  The man was the minister there.  This church was hit by lightning & burned down.  The fire started in the steeple & burned slow.  Gave the church people lots of time to get belongings out.  Including the large altar painting that was cut out of its frame & is in the new church.  New church has no tall steeple & is brick.

My heart is always in Sweden.  Would move there if I could.

That would be my mom.  Once she died there were no more family meals or celebrations.  Even while Mom was in the nursing home we would just go there for holidays to eat.  There are still many family celebrations but my brother & I are never included.  Sad for us.  Took one relative 3 years to figure we had no where to go for holidays.  Three years is far too late.

Favorite place, favorite song.  Wish I could go back but no one who will or can go with me.  Don't quite dare go alone.
