Today's Name Day: Gilbert, Herbert
Herbert is a special name to me. A good friend's first name but he goes by a middle name. We had a special friendship when he lived here. Missed. And in town there have been a Gilbert or two.
I am totally an entire day off in my mind. I was aware of the date but not the importance. Today is NOT St. Patty's Day but my blog is celebrating it anyway. Not starting over saving photos!!! Pain & tiredness plays havoc with one when not in control of either. And will only get worse this week.
Today was a good day considering, Slept well & even got a short nap inspite of Cinder. She just had to join me & kept rubbing on my face or breathing on my face. Finally we both had short naps.
JR & I ate at Pizza Hut. I decided to try their salad. It was the best ever. I am not a fan of lettuce. I prefer spinache but the dressing helped. I added cheese, ham, bacon, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, eggs, French dressing, & croutons. Bacon was freshly cooked, My new favorite meal. And we had our favorite waitress. She is so sweet!
No wind today & not too hot. Tomorrow we are in a fire danger area, Warmer & quite windy. I need to carry trash out but not sure I can. Back is too sore & trash bins are both tipped over. No one to help. I might have to skip this trash pick up. I hate to do that but such is life. When one is alone one does what one can do when in pain most of the time. Such is my life. I refuse to take advantage of my nephew. Calving season. No problem if it goes well but not always the case. And kids are on spring break so they have things to do together. Not screwing this week up. If it bothers no one it bothers me not.
Storm coming on tuesday/wednesday. Two inches of snow & 60 mph winds. And a blizzard warning. Will I get to work?? Iffy. 😔
