Quarantine Day 17

Today was an OK day. I slept pretty good although did not get to sleep until very late.

I ordered groceries last night. They were ready 20 minutes early. When I drove up she was just walking out with them. That is service. Two things they did not have. One had some at home but a different size - tortillas. The other I ordered from Amazon - plates. Nice to get out for a short time. And I had to wear "real" clothes. What a treat!

The weather was warm but the wind was gale force. I took a short nap this afternoon. Without any noise in the house, I could hear the wind roll through the house, from one end to the other. And the noises outside were plentiful. Not sure what all I heard.

My neighbor called and then stopped over. Nice to see him. He asked about buying something of mine. I agreed. Always good to get a little extra income.

He built my porch and the railings on the steps have become very wiggly. Willie meant to fix them. My son promised to fix them but he does not care if I fall or not.  Neighbour's son was with and they fixed both of them. Now I do not fear that I will fall using the steps!!

Rain tomorrow? Not holding my breath. They have been lying for a  while. We have missed all the rain. Time will tell!
