A slow chilly day. Supposed to have rain today but none so far. They keep delaying it. Bet we miss out again. There is rain south, north, and west of us. And the weather girl is sooo excited for heat this weekend. Ugh. Probably too late for rain here anyway. Might as well get hot & get harvest over with. And we have had winds all night and day.
It was pretty cool last night. I was OK in bed but moved to the sofa & heat this morning. And had a nice nap. My tiredness continues. I have learned not to question why or how long. And no need to actually tell anyone & then get a lecture on if I just quit all naps I would sleep at night. Unless you are in my shoes, you do not have a clue.
I looked out my hall window & there was my black cat sleeping at the back of my house. Odd. Cinder was under my car I think. I am sure he heard me calling him & came to eat. I doubt he misses a meal from me!! I do call out to him but he hides. Maybe someday he will be friendly.
Did not spend much time outside. Cold strong winds are not my fave. No description of the prairie today.
Photos are a mix. The one with a lady is a black & white one I colored ---- with an app. The fútbol player is from my fútbol days. He was my favorite player & we are still friends. But so far apart! Hoping for fútbol this autumn at the college. Like the photo of the bridge but the one in Sweden to Danmark is much better. It is 4 lanes with railroad tracks on a lower level. It goes down through a tunnel then back up to cross a manmade island before reaching Danmark. Been over it once. Just awesome!! And after the bridge, there is an alcohol warehouse right there.
