Had a good night. Woke up to around 5" of snow on the ground. Some wind & more falling snow. The temp got down to -2F. Right now it is 4.4F. And snowing again.
Had sad news last night. A classmate passed away. He has been ill for a long time so no surprise but he will be truly missed. What a great guy!!! He & I were born 3 days apart. Him on the 2nd & me on the 5th. Mom told me that the one nurse would hold us at the same time. Known him forever. Since birth!
Had an email or two from JL. They have no snow, of course. But she is hoping for some rain. I have a relative in Wichita Falls OK & JS lives near Little Rock AR. Both are blessed with ice. Glad that is not here. I sent a long text to JS. He did not read or answer or call. Sad.
MM sent a photo as did another friend. I stole hers to use. Nothing from CF or LL. Long video from AN of getting chains on their 4 wheeler. I should ask if my drive will be bladed. If not I am home all day tomorrow. My car does ok until the end of the drive. It is uphill & I can get stuck especially if there is traffic. And my neighbours go by all the time.
I did take some photos. Plus I needed new kitty litter. I threw out an empty box & carried a new one in. I am ordering the same litter but a smaller box. Easier for me to carry. So they have new litter today. I have 2 litter boxes for them to use. One is used more than the other. No idea why.
Saw animal foot prints & bird ones also. Hard to get a good photo. I have trouble seeing where the camera is aimed. Snow is too bright. I did ok though had two that were awful. Trashed them.
I got my bed fixed last night. Moved a blanket out by the washer. Folded my weighted blanket on the end of the bed. I slept with my feet under it all night. Warm & cozy. Slept good except having to eat twice.
Cinder was a weird today. She just had to lay on my chest before supper. After lunch she acted like she was hungry. Put out food. Not been touched by anyone yet. I refuse to throw it out. Too expensive. She bugged me while I was eating supper. She is finally asleep. Finally..
No appetite for supper. The video of a murder in northern US upset me too much. No more news for me. I am still upset.
I noticed cattle at our pond looking for water. I called KN to double check he has water at home & that they were ok. He said my drive would be cleared tomorrow so maybe I can go eat tomorrow night. If I feel brave. Here is a photo of our cattle being fed & in the snow. Poor babies!!!
