I have known several Thomases both here & in Sweden. Friends with a Swedish one or two now. And KN 's uncle is Tom.
Had a good day. Slept good last night. Nice for a change. Cinder layed on or near me for most of the night. Love that. Kisse came for some attention several times.
Sort of chilly over night but warm today. I want my winter. But I rarely get what I want. Maybe in january. I hope.
Got in a very short nap then I was up getting ready for supper. Met NSP & CG at Pizza Hut. I did not overeat so felt ok. We never were quiet for a minute. Great fun.
And surprised to find out NSP' s childhood was a little or a lot like mine. Two of my aunt's talked to me as an adult & they were aware of how my life was but none of them made an effort to help me. Or they tried & it did not go well. I never asked. My Denver relatives were the only ones who treated me as family & made me feel loved. Sure miss them.
We had a new waiter tonight. He had a great sense of humor. He even teased me a couple of times & even jokingly flirted once. Nice to have a little attention. Missing some friends who are too busy to see me. Hope the new waiter stays for a while. I liked him.
I thought I ate enough but my glucose just dropped to 69. Had a cookie. And a cheese cracker with peanut butter. Yummy!
Kids have been quiet since I got home. Had an email from JL. Text from MM last night. Quiet. I am ready for the holidays to be over. I cried on the way to town this afternoon. Wanting what I cannot have, tired of watching almost everyone making plans. But I do know several who are as alone as I am. Sad times. Have Mom & Willie & Nico on my mind.
