Today's Name Day: Maria
Maria is a special name to me. Had a good friend in junior high named Maria. Sad she moved away. And have a good friend now named Maria. She is really special. Love our friendship.
Another sick day. Sick & tired of being sick & tired. But today it worked out for the best.
I hurt so bad last night. JR got me some Advil that helped a bit. But today just hard to walk & be comfy. Called in sick, Walking those steps to the basement had me scared. BUT. After eating a normal lunch my stomach got so sick. Seriously ill. Better here at home rather than on the basement steps. What a nightmare!!! Thanking my angels for looking out for me. Whew.
The cats & I napped. Cinder snuggled with me off & on. Plus I remembered to feed the outside cat or cats. It got all eaten. Only put food out during the day. Cannot afford to feed all the wild animals that come around at night.
I had a great surprise around supper time. CF called & we had a video chat. So nice to see & hear him. And I saw his dog Princess. She is getting old. When he got her we ate out in Marquette. I have photos of me holding her!! We sneaked her into a restaurant there. She just slept. Good girl.
So many people are excited for February's end & are sure that it means that winter is now completely over. HA. We have icy roads forecast for tomorrow. Stupid heat loving people. They truly dislike winter loving people & put us down.
Just relaxing tonight. Pain a bit less. Maybe the weather is changing & has leveled out. I hope.

The Kirby House in Abilene. Fantastic food. Burned down but never rebuilt & recipes never used again. 😔
