In my town we celebrated Midsommarsdag. All morning and early afternoon there were activities downtown. Booths teaching things, booths selling things, Swedish music. Then at 4pm in the south park other booths opened and then at 7pm the raised the majstang. Then Swedish folk dancing and singing. Tomorrow there is a Swedish hymn sing in my church. I heard there was a good crowd.
I had a mini class reunion tonight. It was fun to see others. Lots of good converation. We even talked about some we went to school with in grade school!! And teachers.
Had a good meal. I had what is called Berry Kisst Chicken Sandwich with lingonberry BBQ sauce. I also treated myself to not one but two lingonberry margaritas.
I stopped after the reunion to say hello to a friend who was in an ornery mood!! Always a good visit!
