Wheat Harvest II

I thought it was not to be near as hot today but it was hotter!! It was 101F around 5pm. Just horrible. We are in a severe storm watch but most likely we will get nada. 

My day to serve supper. I brought out BBQ sandwiches from Hickory Hut. They are awesome. While waiting for my food there were 2 older men waiting for theirs also. We had a nice visit. Never judge anyone before you know them. They were nice and we had a good visit.

Harvest is just awful. One of our largest fields of wheat usually takes 2-3 days to cut. Not this year. Took us one day and only 4 semi loads. So sad.

I brought the food out and usually stay while they eat. I am an idiot. Sweat just rolled down my face. Glad I had no make up on. Hot and dusty. Usch.

Nico and I did enjoy our supper. We did get a short nap today.

Saw some pretty flowers blooming. Always nice. I hate summer but love the flowers.
