Clase sueca

Otro día horrible del clima. Me levanté en los 40, pero me sentí mucho más frío. Tenía un viento amargo. Nico estaba en casa hoy.

Cené en Jalisco. Es bueno sentarse allí y relajarse. Muy tranquilo mientras estuve allí. Algunas veces solo es bueno. Visité con 2 de los trabajadores.

Clase de sueco después de la cena Fue divertido esta noche. Escogimos un párrafo de un libro para niños y lo traducimos. Luego léales el uno al otro. De hecho, ¡creo que estoy aprendiendo algo! Emocionante para mí!

He tenido un dolor horrible en el cuello y el hombro. Anoche cambié la almohada donde dormí. Que diferencia. No enseguida, pero mi dolor desapareció. Y no está mal hoy. ¿Es realmente una solución o simplemente una coincidencia? Espero que sea una solución.

Swedish Class

Another awful weather day. Did get up in the 40s but felt much much colder. Had a bitter wind. Nico was homebound today.

Had supper at Jalisco's. Nice to sit there and relax. Very quiet while I was there. Sometimes alone is good. Did visit with 2 of the workers.

Swedish class after supper. It was fun tonight. We picked an paragraph from a children's book and translated. Then read to each other. I actually think I am learning something!! Exciting for me!

I have had horrible pain in my neck and shoulder. Last night I changed the pillow I sleep on. What a difference. Not right away but my pain went away. And not too bad today. Is it really a fix or just a coincidence. Hope it is a fix.

         

Pascua y cumpleaños

Hoy fue el domingo de Pascua. No hay reunión familiar para nosotros. Mi hermano y yo cenamos juntos. Mi hija se quedó en casa. La extrañamos.

Pasé un tiempo en la oficina de mi hermano. Tomó una de sus increíbles fotos e hizo una postal. Espera venderlas. Espero que se vendan Ellos son especiales.

Fui a la 5ª celebración de cumpleaños de una dulce niña. Fue divertido. Todos los niños se divirtieron. Comimos comida estadounidense y mexicana. Tengo que ver a algunos amigos de fuera de la ciudad. Una tarde divertida

El clima no era bueno para Semana Santa. La temperatura alta era de alrededor de 20 años. Y un viento fuerte. Puede que nunca me descongele. Había hielo al norte de nosotros. Nos perdimos eso. Muy bien.

           

Easter and Birthday

Today was Easter Sunday. No family gathering for us. My brother and I ate dinner together. My daughter stayed home. We missed her.

Spent time in my brother's office. He took one of his awesome photos and made a post card out of it He hopes to sell them. I hope they sell.  They are special.

I went to a sweet little girl's 5th birthday celebration. It was fun. All the children had fun. We had American and Mexican food to eat. I got to see some friends from out of town. A fun afternoon.

The weather was not good Easter weather. The high temp was in the mid-20s. And a brisk wind. I may never thaw out. There was ice north of us. We missed out on that. Very good.
