Quarantine Day 72

We had another half inch of rain overnight. Nothing today. I stayed home again. I have not taken any photos. I should just go for a ride but I have  no motivation. Some old flower photos. Most are mine. Two of the photos with rain drops were taken in my cousin's yard. Her yard was full of them. After she died, her house was sold. I guess no one told the owners or they did not want the flowers growing. They are gone. I am sad.

Quarantine Day 71

Wow! Rainstorm overnight. My rain gauge had 5" in it. Driveway was flooded early this morning. Ok now. Supposed to get a little more rain today. And off and on this next week.

Photos of wildflowers and planted flowers.

Quarantine Day 70

So hard to imagine I have been self quarantined for 70 days. And I see no end in sight. Don't believe all that stuff about the country opening up. It will be disastrous. We are only at the beginning of this.

Quarantine Day 69

Very nice day today. My brother and I went to two cemeteries to place flowers on family graves. And the first time to see the head stone on my husband's grave. Looks really good. I hope no other family remove the flowers I put on it. Sad I have to worry about that. We added flowrs to many family graves in Lindsborg. Lots of memories.

Then supper at Jalisco's. My best friend was working again. Just like old times. So nice to feel normal. At least for a small moment in time.

This evening there were 3 rabbits in the yard. One was stretched out like a cat. They seem to always be around a bush that has lots of thick weeds around it. Maybe a nest in there?

Quarantine Day 68

The town around 20 miles from me had a fund raising event tonight. My brother and I took part in it. When we were teenagers "dragging" the main street in your town was a weekend event. The main street in this town is Santa Fe. So we would "drag Fe". And that is what we did tonite. There were donations of nonperishable food or money. And we drove many blocks on Santa Fe. Hundreds of cars too part. Some were just cars but many were old cars. So great to see them and even better to hear them. Brought back so many memories. Here are some car photos.

Quarantine Day 67

A rainy day. And cool temperatures. I love it. Thunder and rain started around 830am. No rain now but some is coming. Maybe severe. I hope not.

Last photos of poppies. They are done. So sad. Wish they bloomed all summer.

When I got home today there were 3 rabbits and a squirrel frolicking in my front yard. Cool.
