Beautiful weather

Hard to imagine, it was beautiful today. Not too warm, not too cool. No wind. Perfect.

Had my Swedish group. Good conversation and music. And a scrumptious food. Easy cake to make and I will. Chocolate cake mix, can of cherry pie filling, and 2 eggs. Mmmm.

Lunch at Jalisco's. Friendly help, great food. Pleasant lunch.

Seems like almost daily I have new symptoms. Starting to have trouble swallowing. And yesterday I walked and weaved like I was drunk. Wish I had been. Oh well. Minor stuff.

We added to our "family" tonight. Found 2 tiny kittens and no mother. One our shed, one in a tree. I am sure they will die but maybe not. So sweet. Hope they live and stay here. Wish the mom was still here. Nico is all curious. But I do not trust him.

The lavender flower is the very last one of this year. I miss them so much when they stop blooming. They are my favorite flower.

Jueves

Un buen día en todos los sentidos. Tuve una cita con el cabello. ¡Siempre me gusta que me mimen y me vea mejor que de costumbre! Además, amo a mi estilista. Desearía ser amigos fuera del salón.

Comprado en CVS. ¡Necesitaba algunas cosas pero terminó con varias cosas más!

Tenía mis nuevos lentes ajustados. Ellos mataron mi cabeza. Mucho mejor ahora.

Tomé una siesta cuando llegué a casa. Me desperté con nubes de tormenta hacia el oeste y luego una advertencia meteorológica. Tuvimos un granizo del tamaño de un guisante, lluvia fuerte, viento. No por mucho tiempo. Genial y genial.

Thursday

A good day all the way around. Had a hair appointment. I always like being pampered and looking better than usual! Plus I love my stylist. Wish we were friends outside of the salon.

Shopped at CVS. Needed a few things but ended up with several more things!

Had my new glasses adjusted. They killed my head. Much better now.

Took a nap when I got home. Woke up to storm clouds to the west and then a weather warning. We had some pea size hail, heavy rain, wind. Not for very long. Got nice and cool.

Will share photos from Salina and rain. Flower photos can wait.

¡Lluvia!

Hoy comenzó bien. No mucha brisa y muy húmedo. Solo amo el verano. Yuck. Pero esta tarde la lluvia se acumuló. Estábamos en un reloj de tornado pero no recibimos nada aquí excepto la lluvia. Eso estuvo bien. Por supuesto, no tuvimos suficiente lluvia. Todas las tormentas severas, tornados, granizo, etc. estaban a nuestro alrededor. Estoy aliviado. Nico nunca se asusta. Nos sentamos afuera por un tiempo. Fresco y refrescante

Almorcé con mi hija. Ella necesitaba hablar, así que nos sentamos en Jalisco durante 3 horas. ¡Sorprendido de que no tuviéramos que pagar el alquiler! Estuvo bien. ¡Cuando nos fuimos nos reímos!

Me mojé en un refugio de tornados con aceite de menta para que cualquier bicho allí se desalojara. No vi ningún bicho viviente. Muchos muertos. Mi esposo lo barrió y luego se fue así que estaba solo durante todas nuestras advertencias. Solía molestarme. No más. Solo me imagino lo que sucede, sucede. Cualquiera que esté aquí no me salvará.
